Chapter Five: Tryouts and clues

Skylars POV

I been down and try to catch my breath, I went over the time I said I would to practice for the tryout today, I think I missed like two classes

"Skipping class already I see" I hear someone say causing me to turn my head and see my father walking over to me

"Well it wasn't intended, I've been away from the game for a while and well......I got carried away" I say as I stand straight up and look at him

"Well I saw you and your explosive, I like what I saw and I'm definitely adding you to the team, now go shower than meet me at the car" My dad says as he walks away

I smile and put my head down, I made the damn team, I pick up my stuff and head in the locker room

I instantly strip out of my work out clothes and get into the shower, I sigh as the hot water hits my body and I start washing myself

Suddenly I hear a camera go off and a flash, I looks around me as I turn off the water, I grab my towels and wraps them around me and come out the shower

"Hello, anyone there" I say as I look around the empty locker room

I decided to let it be and get dressed, I head out and get in the car with my dad but I can't help but think about that camera and flash that I saw.....was I imagining that
....I don't know

I make my way to the locker room to drop my stuff off, it's crazy that I got in the team even though I had no doubts I would make it

I get to the locker room and hear a voice, I listen in and hear my dad talking to someone. I peek around the corner to see Spencer as my dad talking

I hear Spencer talking about someone who seems to have abandoned him, I can feel him on that which is funny because he's talking to the man that abandoned me

I feel weird about listening to this so I drop my stuff by my fathers office and go to head out but I hear my father speak

"I haven't spoken to my father in years....it's not like he left me behind or anything but Umm......he decide that I wasn't the son that he wanted, the same thoughts your having right now, it's best to find what you need in the people who are there for you, not the ones that let you down" My father says

I shake my head at his sediments, so he has all the shit to say but can't be a father figure to me, I instantly leave the locker room and slam the door

I walk out into the hallway to see and see photos everywhere and people staring at me, I look at everyone with confusion and see one face done on the floor

I pick it up and turn it around and my heart drops to my ass, it's a picture of me naked in the shower. I pick my head up to see people staring at me and some guys laughing a bit and other looking at my crotch area

My cheeks flush with embarrassment and I drop the paper and run out of the school, I can't stand to be here anymore

I run out and all the way home, I get there and run up to my room, hearing  Laura yell after me but ignore her and go into my room and crash on the bed and start punching it and yelling in anger

I can't believe some douche bag exposed me like that, I didn't realize I was crying until I collapsed on the bed and fell asleep

I wake up  to the feeling of someone shaking me, I open my eyes to see Laura and my father in front of me

"Hey sweetie, how's you sleep" Laura says as she rubs my back
