Chapter Eight: Jealousy Gameplay

Skylar's POV

I wake up in someone else's bed, I rub my eyes to clear up my vision and I realize where I am and I stretch my arms and shoulder

"Someone's finally up" Patience says as she walk into the room, I smile and shake my head

"Yea well I have school and so do you, plus I gotta get home as well" I say, I hear her giggle and her footsteps slowly fade away as I get up, I adjust my morning wood hoping she won't see that and grab my things, as I do I hear footsteps behind me causing me to turn around

"Hey Patience thanks for last night-" I go to say but cut myself off when I see Coop standing at the door, I sigh and look at her as she glares at me angrily

"Whatchu doin here man" She says causing me to look at her like she's stupid

"Personal reasons and before you go thinkin some shit happen, nothing happened now I gotta go...where is Patience at" I say as I walk closer to Coop

"She's downstairs but you don't need to see her" Coop says trying to intimidate me, I chuckle and move her little ass over before heading downstairs to see Patience by the door, she looks at me nervously as Coop is hot on my tail

"Hey P, thanks for last night I really needed it" I say genuinely, she smiles and takes my hand before looking at me with a friendly smile

"No problem, just do those breathing exercises that I told you about ok" She says and I just nod

I kiss her forehead and we hug before I walk out and start my jog off to the house......although I don't regret going to Patience house, I do regret running here

Patience's POV

I watch Skylar jog down the block to make sure she makes it safely before watching her go out of view, I turn to see Coop with her arms crossed looking at me angrily

"So you gon explain why ya ex was here" She says accusingly

"Well if we're going to start this conversation off like that then what did she tell you" I say crossing my arms as well

"She said personal reasons but I don't believe her ass so you tell me the truth, why was she here Patience" Coop says with a tone, oh she really don't trust me huh

"Well you should believe I wouldn't cheat on you, she was here because she needed help now get off my ass Coop because you puss in me off" I say and with that I walk out with her chasing after me

I don't got time for her attitude and assumption

"Why won't you tell me exactly" Coop says as we walk down the street

"Because it's her personal business, all we did was talk and it got late and she went to sleep" I say finally,

" I don't trust her" She says shaking her head

"Well that's your problem because I do and she's not that type" I say ending the conversation there

Skylar's POV (Time skip)

I sit in the sideline as the game progresses, it's our ball now and Spencer took it to the 20 yard line, I look in the stands and smile at Layla and she waves back

I found out she's with Asher so I backed off her a bit, i means she's cute but someone else has been on my mind lately

I finally get on the field and Asher and Jordan are arguing, Spencer and I break it up and they just look at us

We get into position for the play and Jordan hikes the ball, I run my route and I look to see where Jordan may throw it since I'm wide open but he throws it too low to Asher who's hit hard

We all go to huddle up and Asher comes over mad

"What the hell was that man" Ashers says angrily

They start to argue again and I break them apart

"Y'all stop arguing, we don't got time for this" I say pushing them apart

"Shut up freak......throw the ball right this time" Asher says as he walks away

We huddle around my dad who's telling us to work and get this game going, the ball won't go to Spencer since they'll be all over him so ima make sure to be wide open

I take a deep breath and get into position, we get into position and Jordan hikes the ball, I run my route like I'm supposed too and I'm wide open by the end zone but Jordan runs it int the end zone

I sigh and roll my eyes, I haven't gotten one touch all game, the crowd goes wild and I just shake the opponent's hands and walk off the field

Every since the talk in the locker room the team has been icing me out and Jordan is no exception

I walk into the locker room as everyone celebrates, I just sit at my locker and get undressed, I get my pads off and I look around to see he whole team looking at me a certain way

"Do y'all fucking mind" I yell and they all look away

I get into my normal clothes and wait for coach dad to come in, he walk in and starts talking about how we need to play harder but that we need to remember why we are t practicing

"Dismissed, Skylar come in my office" He says and I just sigh and grab my bag, I walk in and shut the door behind me before sitting down in front of him

"What's up Uncle" I say putting emphasis in Uncle

"Your not bonding with your team as well" He says causing me to just laugh

"I've been doing what you said but it's not working, Jordan won't throw a pass to me, Spencer been glaring at me, they stare when I change and they don't invite me anywhere and I'm not going where I'm not wanted" I say rolling my eyes

"Well let's hope someone comes clean" He says and I just scoff and get up

"This plan isn't working, you cancelling practice is not only ruining the season but it's going to get you fired......might wanna try something different ok, I'll see you at home" I say before grabbing my stuff and leaving

I wish I didn't come here

A/n Well that's an update down, sorry for not updating I have a lot going in and also I lost motivation for the story a bit so let's hope that this is a good one
