I walk the grounds of the park with Alicia as we try to convince people to keep the gangs out of the parks, i look over to see Spencer struggling as well to get people to understand
As much as I love Shawn and what he's done for me with the gang he was in, I can't lie and say that didn't ruin his life forever
I mean he died trying to get out of it
I sigh as another person tells us that they can't help us, I run my hands through my hair as I sit on a park bench nearby
"Well that was a bust...you wanna leave" Alicia asks and I sigh before looking at her
"How you know Shawn" I ask bluntly causing her to look at me confused
"What? Why you askin me that right now" She says and I roll my eyes
"Mmcht girl you know why...I don't care about what's goin on right now but I do care about the girl that is watchin my child, lying to me about shit" I say and Alicia rolls her eyes
"I know him from word of mouth like can you not start this right now...I said I'd explain later" She dismisses and shake my head
"Well you not watchin my daughter no more....I can't have her around you after this" I say before getting up and walking off
She got me all the way fucked up
Time skip
I sigh as I sit on the jungle Jim nearby the sight, Alicia left after I told her ass she was fired, now I gotta ask Mrs. Laura for help which I didn't wanna do
I hear commotion nearby causing me to look over and see Tyrone and that one gang of niggas arguing, I walk closer but remain hidden before some bushes
I don't wanna talk to Tyrone especially since that nigga been actin mad weird and callin my phone and Alicia's
She think I don't know she knows him, I'm not stupid but I gotta tread lightly
I got a daughter now
I listen to Spencer break the tension and I smile a bit but soon gun are drawn, I shake my head before heading to my car
I notice a blinking red light but I brush it off, probably from that damn nanny cam I installed last week
I drive off to the house, I get there and walk in to see my father staring at me disappointedly
"So this is finna be a new normal...you lookin at me like a disappointment" I say and he sighs
"I told you to remain a secret...now one of my children know and I bet you that more do" He says and I duck my head guiltily, I hear him groan in frustration
"Jesu......Skylar who the hell knows besides Jordan" My father says causing me to look at him like he's crazy
"Spencer knows...and I don't know who you talkin to but calm it down because the one person you don't want to know....is clueless and I feel...terrible already for that given that she's being a parents while you aren't" I seethe causing g him to grit his teeth
"I am being a pare-
"SINCE WHEN, you haven't been a fucking parent since I walked in but you demand respect like your gonna get it somehow.....don't call me your daughter if I'm not gonna be treated...like your daughter" I yell, suddenly I hear a loud cry from upstairs causing my nerves to go wild
"If you'll excuse me....I have to check on mine" I say before bolting upstairs, I open my door to see Maya crying on my bed
"What's wrong baby....are you hurt...are you ok" I ask in a tender voice, Maya nods her head and pulls me close
"You yell" She chokes out and I sigh and rub her back
"I'm sorry baby...I know you don't like yelling I'm sorry" I say before kicking off my shoes and laying on the bed as she cuddles into my neck
"You mad mommy" She asks as she sniffles, I grab a tissues from my bedside and wipe her face and nose
"Yes but not at you baby....just at grandpa...but I'm ok now" I say and she gives me an unsure look, I sigh and kiss her eyes causing her to smile and snuggle back into me again
After a while I feel her breathe even out telling me she's sleep, thanks god for the intern babysitter that I checked for and the fact that I gave her a bath before I left so she's fine for bed
I hear my door open causing me to look over and see my father standing there, he and I stare at each other before he walks over and kisses Maya's head and walks out while closing the door
My baby finna be good but how am I finna be good for her
The next day
"So you gon tell me about this girlfriend you got" Patience says and I laugh a bit
"She's not my girlfriend, she too territorial too early but ima check that" I say causing Patience to laugh
"You got a problem with that now...you didn't back then" She says and I shake my head as I play with Maya and her dolls before getting up and sitting on my bed
"Yea but I was feelin you more than I am feelin her" I say and Patience gives me a look
"Don't give me that...she and I just started but you and I go way back" I say and Patience sighs
"You got a point but whatever but I'm still sayin...watch that girl because she's weird and her being too comfortable with Maya ain't a good look" Patience says and I nod
"I know...that's why I'm not having her around her anymore" I say and Patience smiles wider
"Good...Maya don't need that type of energy around her and neither do you....but I gotta go, Coop has this dinner she planned for me and I gotta decided if I wanna go or not" Patience says and I roll my eyes
"You gon take her back" I say sadly and Patience looks down
"Maybe...but I need action not words so we'll see" She says and I just nod
"Good Luck" I say before hanging up, I sigh and lean back on my bed as I watch Maya play with her toys

Alicia's POV
"So why you wanna meet up" I ask and Tyrone kisses his teeth
"Girl you know why I wanted you here...let me get some" He asks as he comes closer but I push him away by chest
"Boy now you know why we not sleepin together..plus I gotta get back in my girl's good graces and I can't do that while thinkin of yo dumbass" I say and Tyrone smirks
"I hate when you right but hey...I'll keep myself busy" Tyrone says and I scoff
"Boy bye" I say walking out of his house, I make my way down the street as I type on my phone and check my cameras
I smile as I see Skylar and Maya singing in her car, they so fuckin cute
She need her dick sucked now
I smile and close my phone before walking to the nearest bus stop
