Chapter 4

18 years ago, when Avyrain was just an 8 year old child and Valt was just a 5 year old kid

Rhaveir Wisteria, Avyrain's father had a meeting with Valt's grandfather

Thus, Avyrain and Valt was left in the playroom alone

"What are you reading?" Valt asked as he approached Avyrain in small steps

"A literature study" Avyrain replied

"Do you want to play with the toys I brought?" Valt asked with his eyes shining with expectation

"No" Avyrain bluntly replied

"Why?" Valt asked

Avyrain sighed as she said "Why are you talking to me?"

Valt happily smiled as he said "That's because big sister is so pretty"

"This big sister is a witch and I eat children who disturbs me when I read" Avyrain stated

Valt looked at Avyrain in surprise as he said "I've never seen a witch as pretty as big sister, they usually have a big nose when I watch them on the television"

Avyrain stood up and walked a distance away from Valt

"Don't come here, okay?" Avyrain stated

Valt innocently nodded his head as he said "Okay big sister"

Then Avyrain sat down and continued reading her book

After a while, Avyrain looked ahead and found Valt talking with a man then he suddenly handed him a candy

Valt shook his head and did not accept the candy when suddenly the man grabbed his arm, Avyrain immediately stood up and ran towards them then she pulled Valt away

"What are you doing to this kid?" Avyrain stated as she glared at the man

The man got irritated then he grabbed the two of them and carried them both

"Let go" Valt stated as he tried to break free from his grasp

Just then, Avyrain suddenly bite the man's hand which made him let go of Valt as his other hand pushed Avyrain's mouth away

As Avyrain was pushed away, the man grabbed her hair and Avyrain immediately looked at Valt as she shouted "Run!"

Valt immediately run away while Avyrain was being dragged by her hair

"Help!" Valt shouted as he run away

"Young Master, what happened?" his grandfather's assistant worriedly asked as he ran towards Valt

"A big man is hurting big sister" Valt uttered as tears flowed out on his eyes

"Where?" the assistant asked

"Playroom" Valt uttered then the assistant immediately ran towards the direction of the playroom

When the assistant arrived, the security guard was already holding the man down while Avyrain was on the side watching them

"Young Miss, are you alright?" the assistant asked as he walked towards Avyrain

"Daddy" Avyrain uttered as she ran towards her father who had just arrived at the scene along with Valt and his grandfather

"Are you hurt?" Rhaveir asked as he gazed at Avyrain from head to toe

"I'm fine, the security guard arrived on time" Avyrain replied

Rhaveir picked up his daughter and carried her in his arms as he said "What happened?"

"This man attempted to kidnap your daughter sir" the security guard replied
