A Fate Foretold

Oneshot

It was a bright and sunny day when Arif once again spent his whole day inside his home with his wife

Elizabeth wanted to have a picnic with him on the greenhouse garden so all the servants in the manor prepared everything for them in a flash

"I've brought a new book with me, I found this at the very most upper top shelf in the library"  Elizabeth happily stated

"That book" Arif uttered

"Do you know this book?" she asked

"It's the book you've read on our first date" Arif replied

Elizabeth's eyes brightened as she asked "Really?"

Arif nodded his head in response as he tapped on his lap and said "Why don't you read it for me"

Elizabeth happily smiled then sat on his lap as she opened the book and started reading it while Arif kept feeding her

"Oh! the main character's partner has the same name as me, Elizabeth" she uttered in surprise

Arif grabbed a piece of grapes and place it on her mouth as he said "I remembered you saying that you envy her because she was loved so dearly by the main character"

"Then I guess I won't be jealous of Elizabeth from the book this time" Elizabeth stated

"And why is that?" Arif uttered

Elizabeth grinned as she cheerfully said "I have a husband who loves me so dearly"

In that instant, Arif bent down and kissed her on the lips

The kiss slowly gets hotter and hotter until Elizabeth finally pushed him back

"I can't breath" Elizabeth uttered gasping for air

Arif held her waist and lifted her up making her face him

Arif was tall so instead of sitting on his lap, she was kneeling as she faced her so that their eyes meet on the same level

Elizabeth wrapped her arms around his neck and Arif started kissing her once again

The kiss got deeper and deeper until tears started flowing out in Elizabeth's eyes and he immediately stopped

"Why are you crying?" Arif asked as he wiped her tears with his hand

Elizabeth flushed as she said "It's because Arif won't let me take a breath so tears started flowing out on its own"

Arif chuckled and placed a quick kiss on her lips as she said "My wife, you're too adorable that you make it too hard for me to control myself from eating you up"

Elizabeth looked at him in shocked as she said "You're going to eat me?"

Arif laughed as he said "Silly, not that kind of eating you're thinking about"

"Huh?" Elizabeth uttered in confusion

A smirk appeared on his lips as he moved closer and licked Elizabeth's neck then he started nibbling it with his teeth

"This kind of eating" he stated as he gently run his fingers through her hair

"Do you get it now?" he asked

Elizabeth shyly nodded her head in response

Arif smiled as he continued kissing her, on her forehead, her cheeks, her nose, her lips, her neck, her hands

"You said that it's hard for you to control yourself from eating me but I don't want to make things hard for you" Elizabeth stated

Arif stopped kissing her as he gazed at eyes that innocently looked at him as he said "If the doctor says that your body is already healthy enough to handle me then that's the time I will really eat you up"

"Is it because it's not tasty if it's not healthy?" Elizabeth curiously asked

Arif laughed as he said "Of course not, my wife will always be tasty no matter what"

Arif picked up a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear as he said "It's because it will hurt you"

Elizabeth cheerfully smiled as she said "Then can I eat you instead since you're healthy?"

Arif burst out in laughter as he said "That's not how it works"

"Eh?" Elizabeth uttered in confusion

'This is the first time I've laughed this hard' he thought to himself

"It's the first time the boss has ever laughed like that" his right hand man uttered as they watched them from a hidden distance

"It's the only time the boss has laughed that purely" the nanny stated

"I guess you could say the madam is the perfect match for the boss" the maid stated
