Chapter 9

"Anaiah stop playing with your robot toy in the sand, you'll get yourself dirty" Anaiah's nanny called out

The 7 year old Anaiah stood up and picked up her robot toy then she ran towards her nanny

"Is Avy still asleep?" Anaiah asked

"She got tired from playing with you so she's sleeping soundly right now" her nanny replied

"Nanny, the Wisteria are here" Anaiah's mother stated

Then, the nanny walked away with her mother leaving Anaiah with a bunch of kids from her family's business partners

"Look at her, she is nothing like her beautiful elder sister" a small girl around her age stated

"She really is a tomboy, look at her dress filled with dirt" another girl stated

"I can't believe she's a Franchester when she's that ugly and chubby" a boy with the same age as her stated

The 7 year old Anaiah glared at the boy as she said "I know I'm ugly but so are you"

"An ugly girl like you don't know how handsome my brother is" a little girl uttered as she pushed Anaiah down

Anaiah fell down to the ground and the little boy picked up her robot toy then he started tearing it apart

"Stop!" Anaiah shouted as she stood up and tried to reach for her toy

Then the two little girls teamed up and push Anaiah away

At that moment, a shoe suddenly flew right before Anaiah's eyes and it hit the little boy's head

Everyone looked at the little boy in shock as he held his head in pain

The person who threw the shoe walked towards them and picked up Anaiah's toy

"Is this yours?" the 9 year old Reinhardt uttered as he handed the robot toy to Anaiah

Anaiah nodded her head in response as she held the toy he gave her

Reinhardt glared at the little boy as he said "Scram"

Then the little boy ran away as well as the two little girls who pushed Anaiah

Reinhardt reached out his hand as he said "Get up"

Anaiah held his hand as he helped her got up

"Are you Anaiah Franchester?" Reinhardt asked

Anaiah nodded her head in response

"You're prettier than I thought, my little sister told me about you and you're as beautiful as she described you to be" Reinhardt uttered with a smile

"Your little sister?" Anaiah shyly asked

"I'm Reinhardt Wisteria, Avy's brother" Reinhardt stated

'No wonder he was kind, so he was Avy's big brother' Anaiah thought to herself

"If you don't get along with other kids, you can come to our house and play with my sister" Reinhardt stated

"Is that alright?" Anaiah asked in hesitation

"Other kids will talk bad about Avy if an ugly tomboy like me is with her" Anaiah uttered in disappointment

"Who said you are ugly?" Reinhardt uttered

"They did, I'm not as beautiful and as graceful as my sister" Anaiah replied

Reinhardt gently stroke her head as he said "Well I think you're beautiful"
