A Fate Foretold

In a dark and rainy morning, Avyrain was in a huge library reading a romance novel

"Your coffee" Arif stated as he placed a cup of warm coffee in front of Avyrain

"Thanks" Avyrain uttered as she took a drink on it while focusing on the story she read

"I'm having second thoughts on this library date, you're the only one enjoying this" Arif stated

"You said you're alright with any kind of date and this is what I like the most" Avyrain stated

Arif placed his hand on the table then he rested his face on it as he gaze at Avyrain

Arif picked up a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear as he said "You look beautiful"

"I know" Avyrain calmly replied

Arif lightly laughed as he said "You're not gonna deny it?"

Avyrain sighed as she said "What do you want me to say then?"

"Something like 'No, I'm not' then I could tell you 'To me, you are' and then you'll get all shy" Arif uttered with a grin

"No, I'm not" Avyrain apathetically stated

"Now I'm all shy" Avyrain calmly stated

Arif burst into laughter and Avyrain immediately covered his mouth with her hand

"This is a public library, are you insane?" Avyrain stated

Arif held her hand as he uttered with a grin "You were just like a robot a while ago and now you're panicking like an adorable kitten"

"Stop messing with me" Avyrain stated as she glared at him

"I want to tame you so bad" Arif stated as he kept on stroking Avyrain's head

"You have a weird kinky taste" Avyrain uttered with a sigh

Arif pinched her cheek as he said "I mean it romantically, why are you thinking such dirty thoughts?"

Avyrain reverted her eyes and drank the remaining coffee

"I heard you were good at drag racing" Arif stated

"I'm sure you had me investigated, I don't believe that you just heard that so casually from gossips about me" Avyrain stated

Arif touched her hair and started playing with it as he said "Is it so wrong to want to know about the woman you're interested in?"

"How do I turn off that interest of yours?" Avyrain asked

"You satisfy it first then maybe I'll get fed up with it" Arif stated

"If you want to play with feelings then you got the wrong woman" Avyrain stated

"What if I don't want to just play?" Arif uttered

Avyrain silently gazed at Arif as she thought 'I'm getting dizzy'

Arif leaned closer towards Avyrain and was about to kiss her lips when she suddenly flopped down in his chest

Arif carried her up in his arms as he said "Your timing is really terrible"

When Avyrain woke up, she was shocked beyond belief upon finding herself in the arms of a shirtless man wrapping around her

She immediately looked at her body and sighed with relief as she thought 'My clothes are still intact'

She removed his hand and was about to get away when he suddenly pulled her back
