Chapter 7

Avyrain woke up in surprise as she found herself wrapped in Arif's arms the moment she opened her eyes

Avyrain immediately pushed him away as she said "Weren't you supposed to be in the couch?"

Arif grumbled as he opened his eyes then said "It got cold there"

"You could have just cover yourself with the blanket" Avyrain stated

"It's warmer beside you" Arif replied

"By the way, you're going to return me back home today right?" Avyrain stated

"I don't know, maybe I'll return you tomorrow morning" Arif replied

"No, my workload will increase so I have to return today since you already took a lot of my time" Avyrain stated

"You say that but you were having fun yesterday" Arif replied

"Life's not all fun, are you going to take responsibility if a problem arises in my family's business because of me?" Avyrain stated

"If you want, I can even take responsibility in everything you do" Arif uttered as a smirk appeared on his face

"Do you want to test it?" he asked

"No" Avyrain calmly replied

Arif sighed and got out of the bed as he said "We're going to the beach, change into your swimsuit"

"Did you bring a floating device?" Avyrain asked

Arif looked at Avyrain as he said "You don't know how to swim?"

Avyrain awkwardly smiled as she said "I know how to float though"

Arif laughed as he said "I'll have my underling buy a life jacket for you"

Avyrain humped and crossed her arms as she said "I have something I'm not good with, it's not like I'm good at everything"

Arif leaned closer towards her then he gently stroke her head as he said "I know, stop sulking"

"You can be bad at everything and that still doesn't change the way I look at you" Arif stated

Avyrain moved away from him as she said "I bet you told that to a lot of women already"

Arif chuckled as he said "Just as you are busy with work, so am I"

"Well I did have at least three women at my side when I'm in a night club but I never personally took an interest in them, in my line of job it's normal" he added

"That does not make it any better, well I don't really care to begin with" Avyrain stated as she picked up the clothes on the table

Afterwards, they went into the beautiful and refreshing beach in Maldives

Avyrain had fun swimming by herself and diving at the water

Then, Avyrain played beach volleyball with some strangers she met

"Let me take a rest for a bit" Avyrain uttered as she went into the balcony of a cottage

Avyrain drank a water then she released a heavy sigh

"Are you sulking because you were losing to them?" Arif asked

"I know I'm not that good at it but I don't like losing to strangers" Avyrain uttered with a sigh

Arif handed her a slice of watermelon as he said "Eat and take a rest first then you strike back at them, who knows you might win against them next time"

Then, Arif walked away leaving Avyrain in the balcony eating watermelons

Meanwhile, the strangers that were playing with Avyrain was suddenly called out in a secluded corner
