"Move it, you nerd!"A spiky hair-blonde boy approached the large school doors a few paces in front of me. Using a small amount of force, he shoved a small statured boy in front of him on his way in. After stumbling, the kid dropped all of his belongings on the ground.
What a hero.
"Are you alright?" My arm stretched towards the small pile of books and a notepad now strewn across the ground.
"Y-Yeah. Thanks."
"Don't mention it."
After getting the small guy situated, he returns a small shy nod my way before scurrying his way in between the giant doors.
The giant doors in front of me.
That lead to U.A.One of the top schools for wannabe heroes.
What the hell is my life?
I see a table set up at the end of the hallway. There's a banner hanging above it that reads 'Future Heroes Check in Here!".
Reluctantly, I walk over to the table. A women in a way-too-tight white body suit with a black corset asks for my name and checks me in. I'm ushered to a waiting room where a pro hero will shortly be out to call my name. Instinctively, I spin the ring loosely hanging around my finger. Checking around me, I find at least 15 kids my age that are just as nervous as I am.
I don't seem to recognize anyone except for the one blonde asshole from earlier. He's unabashedly staring right at me.
Why are his eyes literally the color of blood?
If I wasn't a full blown villain myself, I might feel intimidated by him.
"What the hell are you looking at?"
I'm caught off guard as the blonde calls out my blatant staring of his blatant staring.
"Just some blonde trash." The blood color of his eyes ignites into fire.
This is fun.
"Are you trying to die young, dumbass?" He spits out through his clenched teeth.
"While I may be ok with arranging that, that doesn't really sound very polite coming from a future hero and all."
"Fight me." He mutters.
Is this kid for real?
"I'm going to have to pass on that. Unlike you, I actually want to get into this school. I'm not trying to blow my chances at the first opportunity."
"You little bi-"
"Yo, Yo, Yo, do I have a Ritsuki, Yui out here?" A tall man with even taller blonde hair loudly interrupts the argument that was heading nowhere.
Here goes nothing.
"Hi" I plaster a fake smile on my face while I gently wave one hand. "That would be me."
"Tch. That was a 180 on the attitude." The blonde behind me mumbles as I walk towards the loud man. I pull one arm behind my back to flip off the boy as I walk out of the classroom we were waiting in.
The man that I now know as Present Mic sits across a large desk.
"Yui. I'm so glad you have taken an interest in hero work. Go on and tell me all about yourself, ya' hear?"
My patience was already bursting at the seems.
"Yeah, of course. You already know my name, but I'm sixteen years old and have dreamt about being a hero since day one."
I'm going to vomit.
"I adore working with and for the benefit of others. Honestly ever since an encounter I had with a hero back in the day, this is all I could ever think about becoming." Present Mic's already large smile grew even bigger at my answer. "Wow wow wow, blowing me away already Yui. Now hero work is a big and dangerous job, ya' dig? So what makes you think you've got what it takes?".
"Well with my quirk, I am able to heal people and temporarily paralyze people. Granted my paralyzing quirk works with pain, it leaves no physical damage on the target. I believe with my quirk and determination, hero work is something I would strive in."Tomura better fucking pay me good for this shit.
"That's impressive. Do you mind showing me whatcha' got?"
Present Mic stands and steps a few paces back. Standing across the room from him, I lift my left hand slightly into the air. "This is my healing quirk." Yellow lights spread throughout my veins before the lights reaches my fingertips. Due to withholding the energy, the light stops at the edge of my fingers.
"Amazing. How does the painful paralyzing part work?"
"It works in the same way, just with my other hand." I lift my right hand now and watch as purple hued light shoots down my veins before resting at my fingertips.
"All I have to do now is either aim my hand at my target, or connect it to their body with physical touch. The closer I am to them, the more powerful it becomes."
"That certainly is a quirk made for a true hero if I've ever seen one!" Present Mic smiled warmly at me. "I've got enough info to make a sound judgement on ya' now! You are good to make your way back out and we'll be in touch!"
"Thanks for your time and it was great meeting you." I wamly smile at him before leaving.
God, what an exhausting man.
Just as I was leaving the massive building, I nearly hit someone with the entrance door as it swings open. "Watch it, moron!"
Oh good.
Deciding to ignore the arrogant ass, I focus on the concrete below me as I walk. The annoying blonde had other plans. "Oi, you're that annoying bitch from earlier!"
A sigh escaped from my lips. "Sure am."
"Too scared to fight me?" He called from behind.
"Nah. Just don't feel like wasting my time." Tilting my head over my shoulder, a smile broke on my lips as I saw the fuming blonde behind me.
"Get your ass back here!" The yapping Pomeranian began storming towards me now.
"Bakugo Katsuki! You leave that girl alone and get your ass over here now!" Across the path was an exact replica of the angry blonde boy, but taller and with tits.
"You old hag! Can't you see I'm busy?"
Dear god, get me out of here.
I hurriedly walk towards the path to the convenience store where Kurogiri had planned to pick me up. The whole walk I spent checking behind me to make sure Bakugo hadn't followed me to threaten my life some more.
I couldn't be more relieved to see the circular darkness begin to grow in front of me.
"You better hurry and get me the hell out of here Kurogiri."
