"Are you ok?" Toga quietly asked.

"I-I don't know. This is the second time in my life I've been forced into a new situation involuntarily." I mumbled.

As much as I hate it, I'm angry because I'm scared. I don't want to be alone. I'm terrified of attending U.A.

"I tried to stop it." Dabi spoke up. "Just know I'm always here for you, whether we're under the same roof or not."

I really appreciate the relationship I share with Dabi. Even though Toga and I are close, Dabi has always been the one person in the league that I actually feel comforted by. I don't always have to be on guard when I'm around him.

We spent a few hours unpacking my items and talking. Suddenly Kurogiri's warp gate appeared in front of Toga. "Guess it's time to go." She ran over and wrapped her arms around my waist.  "I'll see you soon, Yui!" Toga said before stepping into the portal.

"Y-You should get going now too. Before you get in trouble." I stated sadly as I pushed on Dabi's arm.

In a swift motion, he wrapped both arms around my shoulders and pulled me in tightly. I laid my face on his chest as he rested his head on mine. He placed a gentle kiss on my head before slowly pulling away.

"You got this, Yui. I'll see you in just a couple of days."

With that everyone was gone, and I was alone.

- - - - - -

I spent the last week getting used to the quiet of living alone. Twice had stopped by 3 days ago to drop off groceries and check in on me. I've made this house as comfortable and familiar as possible with just the few items I own.

Today I start my journey at U.A.

The alarm on my phone somehow makes a noise loud enough to rival Present Mic. My arms and legs stretch as far as they can as my body slowly wakes up. Rolling over, I pick up the trash phone Shigaraki had given me with his number only so I can stay in touch.

6:30 am

God I did not miss this about school.

Sliding open my closet, I take in the horrid sight of the ugly uniforms. All of mine include a small skirt, a white button down, a red tie, and a horrid jacket.

After slipping the sleeves on, I make my way to the full length mirror in my room as I button the jacket closed.

Horrible. Absolutely Horrible.

I can't help but laugh at the sad sight of myself in a school uniform. I place my hair in a half up hairstyle, sling my bag over my shoulder, and leave for U.A.

As I'm walking along the street, I see a few other students walking in the same uniform as me, but I don't recognize any of them. I spent the entirety of the walk mentally preparing myself for who I needed to become once I walked into the building to blend in.

Happy..
Helpful..
Kind..

So basically me before the league picked me up off the street.

'1-A'

I see a sign hanging in the hallway labeling that classroom as my homeroom.
Anxiously, I slide open the door and am met with a classroom almost full with people. My eyes quickly scan over the entire room until I see a spiky head of blonde hair.

So he made it too...

Bakugo peers up from his desk, eyes instantly locking with mine. I stood staring at the boy in silence until my line of sight was cut off by a familiar face walking up to me. "Ritsuki, right?" Kirishima smiled while pointing at me and tilting his head to the side.

"You got it." I smiled back at him. "Glad to see you made it too, Kirishima."

Before we could continue our conversation, a girl with pink hair came running up to me.

"OOOOO, is that another girl I see?" She called out in a sing-songy voice. "Ashido, Mina. But you can just call me Mina." She stuck out her hand for me to shake.

"Ritsuki, Yui. But just call me Yui." I grinned at her, going along with the friendly act I had planned on the way to school. Normally, I wouldn't want any of these baby heroes to know my name and I wouldn't care to know theirs.

A few of the other girls came up and joined in on our conversation. I ended up meeting Ochaco, Tsu, and Momo as well. It was quickly established that we were already on a first name basis.

Thankfully, Midoriya walking in the classroom brought a stop to our monotonous conversation.

As he stepped inside, he saw me standing with the group of girls next to the door.

"H-Hi Ritsuki." He stuttered with a smile.

I forced a happy look on my face as I waved, "Hey, Midoriya.-"

"DEKU, WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE YOU QUIRKLESS LOSER."

I thought someone was being extra quiet today.

A tall boy with dark blue hair quickly stood from his seat, waving his arm robotically at Bakugo. "WE ARE IN ONE OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS SCHOOLS IN THIS NATION, KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN" Ironically, his voice carried the same volume as Bakugo's.

"Excuse me, but aren't you also currently yelling?" I asked, somewhat politely.

Using his pointer finger, the boy pushes his glasses back onto the bridge of his nose. "You are correct. I am ashamed for my recent display of ignorance."

A small chuckle slipped from my lips as I listened to his self-realization.

"I do not believe I have formally introduced myself to you yet, my name is Iida Tenya. I believe I overheard you are Ritsuki Yui, correct?"

I choked down the annoyance I felt towards his formal nature and smiled at him. "That's me."

Soon after our conversations died down, we were interrupted by a scraggily man in a yellow sleeping bag.

"It took all of you seven minutes to be quiet and sit down."

The man I now know as Mr. Aizawa, and I easily recognized as pro-hero Eraserhead,  emerged from his sleeping bag and explain the quirk test we were going to be put under.

"B-But what about the school-wide orientation?" Uraraka shyly spoke up.

"Heroes don't have time for orientations. Go get ready and meet me on the field in 10."

The class dispersed into two locker rooms to change into our training attire. Sadly this meant I was stuck in a small space with the very chatty girls in the class. They instantly began to ask eachother personal questions, trying to include me into the conversations as well.

"So Yui, tell us about your life. Where are you from?" Tsuyu spoke up.
"Yeah! Do you have a boyfriend? You have to have one with those looks." Mina chimed in.

I took a deep breath, clearing any bothersome feelings I was having. A smile came onto my face as I tried to manipulate Mina in gossip to avoid Tsuyu's question.

"Actually I don't have a boyfriend. But what do you think of all of the guys in our class?" I spoke with a fake curiosity.

As Mina began zone out in a rant about the cute redhead, I was able to quickly get dressed and make my way out to the field.

I was one of the first girls onto the field, with around half of the boys already standing near Mr. Aizawa. I could feel crimson eyes following me as I made my way to the group.

As the last few girls walked out, Mr. Aizawa began to speak.

"As you know, you were unable to use your quirks throughout primary school. For this exam, I want you to show me what you are capable of by using your quirk in whatever ways you wish."
As he explained the physical tests we would be completing, I struggled to think of ways to use my quirk to my advantage in them.

Bakugo was used as an example of how to use our quirks with our ball-throwing test.

"By the way..." Mr. Aizawa casually spoke up, "Whoever has the lowest score will be immediately expelled from U.A. Let's begin."

Shocked gasps and whispers came form those around me.

I intertwined my fingers and cracked my knuckles, starting to warm up my hands. Dim yellow lights began to glow through my skin as we walked towards our first speed test.

A/N: So slight? manga spoilers but MINETA'S BI? WTF. Don't get me wrong, I'm bi, so I'm glad there's representation in the show, but it just had to be mineta, huh? :'(

Anyways, I hope you all are enjoying the story! Coming up soon, Yui is going to need a hero name, so please drop any ideas you have in the comments!
