Mihir stood on top of a building to watch what was happening.

Shersingh and his goons were threatening the people to handover their valuables. All of them had revolvers in their hands.

"Give us your valuables!" he roared with maniacal laughter. "Else, no one will leave this place alive!"

He frequently shot some bullets upwards as a sign of ultimatum.

"What a scoundrel!" thought Mihir. He jumped down from the building, ready for action.

"Hoy, Shersingh!" he called out. "What do you think you're doing huh?"

"Ah," said the don, turning to face him. "Here's the special guest himself! Do you think you can fight me, Hero?"

"I guess I can't. After all, what you are doing is just begging others for money!"

"HOW DARE YOU!" yelled Shersingh. He tried to punch, but Mihir was agile. He dodged the punch, and with one gravity-defying pounce, landed a massive kick on the don's face.

"OWWW!"

He then darted for the goons, who were scared out of their wits seeing how Hero had bashed up their boss. They got into their jeeps and tried to escape, only for the police to come there and arrest them.

"Thank you, Hero," said Inspector Patil.

"It's my duty, Patil sir. Please give these rogues what they deseve."

He said so and disappeared into a dark alley.  But suddenly, someone tugged at his cloak, and took it off.

"HEY!" he protested, but was surprised to see who had taken his cloak.

"Raj?"

"Yes Shakkar. It's me," said the slim young man. "Yaar, I wouldn't have been surprised if that kick of yours killed Shersingh!"

"I think so too," said Mihir.

"But I have a question, Mihir. We've been friends for four years now, and only I know that you are Hero. But how and why did you become Hero?"

That question struck Mihir right in the heart. Out of the three friends that he had in this world, he was the closest to Raj. How could he hide his story from him?

"I'll tell you, Raju. Let's go home first. I don't want anyone finding out about me."

"Okay. Let me put a quick text to my Jalebi telling her that I'm with you."

Mihir removed his cloak and eye mask. The two of them got on his motorbike and reached his house quite fast.

"So, tell me Mihir. Why and how did you become Hero?"

Mihir looked at his friend with tearful eyes.

"It was because I witnessed a lot of crimes around me."
