Sunil surprises Aisha

It was 11:30 in the night.

Sunil had decorated the bedroom with balloons and was waiting for Aisha to return from the hospital. 

"Hope she'll like it" he thought nervously. "If she doesn't, I've got Mihir to blame!"

Minutes passed.

"Sunny, where are you?" came his wife's sweet voice. Sunil quickly became alert. 

"Sunny!" she yelled again. She stomped in angrily, but her anger vanished when she saw what he had done.

The clock struck twelve right then. 

"Happy birthday Ashu," he said, putting a chain around her neck. 

"This is so sweet!" she said. "Thank you Sunny. I thought that you had forgotten."

"How can I forget your birthday?" he asked. "You, the one I love the most?"

Aisha smiled and kissed him on the cheek. 

"Now, hug me. I have another gift for you."

She agreed and hugged him. When she tried to draw back, she found that her chain had entangled with the one that Sunil wore on his neck.

Things were quite bitter,

You make my life worthwhile. 
Today is your day,
I hope I can keep your woes at bay.

Aisha was overwhelmed. 

"I love you so much Sunny," she said. 

"I love you too, my angel."

When morning set in, wishes poured in for Aisha from everyone. As Mihir had advised him to, Prem had sung a song and dedicated it to her. 

Aisha treated everyone to dinner. Mr and Mrs Sehgal were overjoyed when they heard about Raj and Pooja's impending wedding, and congratulated the couple. 

Seeing how open his friends were with their partners, Mihir decided that he had to confess his feelings to Sanya sooner, as his life was in danger at times because of the Hero persona.
