Mihir's attraction to Sanya deepened as he got to know her and her family better.
He bonded quite well with her witty brother Sunil, whom he credited for making him extroverted. Her parents were liberal and pragmatic, and they were moved by Mihir's courtesy, and were empathetic towards him.
As she was comfortable around him, Sanya didn't fear to argue with him if she thought he was wrong. Mihir felt exactly the same, and both of them got along like a house on fire.
"She's such a sport, Laadley," he told Prem, when he visited his house one evening. "I can't take my eyes off her."
"You're raving about my relative to me, Shakkar," said Prem. "I very well know that she's a sport."
Mihir placed his hands on his head in frustration.
"What's the matter, Mihir?"
"I feel that I am seeing her with a wrong intention, Prem."
His buddy was confused.
"Mihir bro indirectly says that he likes Sanya!" yelled Nisha, joining them.
Prem marvelled at the quick understanding of his wife. He quickly turned to Mihir and clasped his hand.
"Really, Shakkar? You like Sanya?"
Mihir was speechless. "Er, can we change the topic? I have an important news to share with both of you."
"What is it, Mihir bro?" asked Nisha.
"Raj and Pooja are ready for marriage. They want me to plan their wedding!"
Both Prem and Nisha were ecstatic.
