A New Disaster

A few weeks passed. Sooner or later, Mihir's suspicions would lead to something.

One evening, he transformed into Hero to see if there were any problems in the city.

"Uh, what can keep Hero busy when there's no problems?" he groaned.

But then, he noticed something different.

He saw violet and blue circle like things on the roof of a skyscraper. He decided to ignore them, when suddenly-

A missile shot out of nowhere and hit the road in front of him. It caused a sudden panic, and the people began running helter-skelter.

"I gotta take care of this," he thought. He flew further to look at the problem.

The civilians were relieved on seeing their saviour. "Don't worry," he said. "I'll take care of this."

He flew up, and was horrified at what he saw.

Young boys and girls with blue/violet hair, and they were the ones who were launching all the missiles.

Missile after missile was launched, and it created destruction.

"Who are these?" he thought anxiously. "Could it be Ranaak's extended family?"

"Anyway, what they are doing is wrong, and it's my job to stop them!"

He landed in front of the humanoids with anger in his eyes.

"Ah, here comes the He-Man," said Safera, who was the leader of the group. "One should learn how to be punctual from you."

Mihir didn't speak. He tried to catch Safera by the scruff of her neck, but she jumped aside.

"Think you can catch me easily, huh Hero?" she asked with a wily grin.

"Those who talk too much and do evil will have to be caught," he replied, and flying right and left, he successfully confused them, making all of them get stuck in a clothesline.

But Safera managed to escape, and Mihir wasn't able to keep pace with her.

The police, led by Inspector Patil, came quicker than usual, and arrested the humanoids.

"They look really strange," the officers whispered to each other.

After receiving the thanks from them, Mihir flew away. He went into a corner to remove his cloak.

As he was about to remove his mask, his eyes met with another's.

Before he could realise it, his mask was removed, and he was given a slap.

"Sanya?" he asked. The beautiful girl was standing in front of him, with tears of anger streaming down her cheeks.

"Mihir, why did you hide this from me?" she cried. "I trusted you so much and you...?"

He was shocked and hurt.

"Sanu, I didn't want to alarm you. I am in a lot of danger due to this persona, and if you got to know this, you'd probably be worried."

He then told her the entire story of how he became Hero.

Sanya listened attentively, and hugged him.

"You are so brave. No one can be this selfless, thinking that what happened to them should never happen to others!"

"Till now, only you and Raj know this secret. I will tell everyone else when the time comes. Until then, please keep it safe."

"I will," said Sanya.
