Jolin stared out the dirty window, trying to ignore the fact that there was gum under the table they were sitting at. "Hey!" Kimberly snapped. Flinching, Jolin looked back at her, the darken circles under eyes showed a little more each day. "I asked are you getting much sleep, and you didn't answer me." Yawning, she looked back to the window. "No," she groaned. "Well why not?"
"I keep getting these nightmares, and they are absolutely horrifying..." she said rubbing her eyes. "What are they like?" Jolin looked at her through her eyebrows, a frown on her face, her hands in front of her. "Well..." Jolin slouched. Thinking back to this morning. "I'm always in a burning building,"
"Always?!" Kimberly looked at her in shock. "Yes." Jolin said, getting on with the story. "And it's dark, and there's screams, and loud noises... and I always smell blood. But every time I get out, I either have a heavy black box in my hand, or chains around my ankles." She explained, watching as Kimberly furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "That's weird..." Jolin nodded, chewing on her carrot. A sudden erupt of noise raised their interest, as they both looked behind. Walking into the cafeteria, was a confident girl. Nay, a women in Jolin's opinion. She swayed her hips as she walked, her black hair swept to the side with a fade on the side of her head. In this mysterious persons ears were black beads, which spread the earlobe apart, creating a hole you could look through. "Woah..." Jolin shivered, getting a tingling feeling deep down in her stomach. Butterflies fluttered, sending a deep red into her cheeks. "Is that a new girl?" Kimberly looked at her. "Maybe... I haven't seen her around before." They stared as she walked into the late line for lunch, getting her food. Resting her elbows on the table, Kimberly turned back to Jolin who had a slight redness in her cheeks. She was still staring hopefully at the line doors. Kimberly smirked, looking at the doors, staring as the new girl came walking their way. Jolin blinked noticing she was getting closer, and started to panic. Kimberly saw the little fit her cousin was getting into and decided on something she knew would tick her off. "Hey-uh... can I sit here?" She asked. Kimberly was surprised by her sweet voice. She was expecting a groan, not a nice voice. "Yeah sure!" Kimberly smiled, scooting over. Jolin watched as she sat down, setting down her tray. Looking away, she rubbed her cheeks. "So... what's your name?" Kimberly asked, watching as she slouched, her black coothing coming down, sliding down her breasts, showing cleavage. "Oh god..." Jolin quietly huffed, putting her hand in front of her eyes as she rested on her elbow. "Brianna is the name, but everybody just calls me Bree." Kimberly nodded, putting a hand on her own chest. "I'm Kimberly, and this is," she looked at Jolin, who still had a hand in front of her eyes. "Jolin?" With an exaggerated breath, she looked back up, seeing Bree's piercing green eyes. "Yeah?"
"Jolin?" Bree's eyes widened. "Very uncommon name..." she held out her hand, and Jolin shook it. Bree turned her hand, her soft hand under Jolin's. She was in the position, where she could kiss Jolin's hand, like a prince would kiss a princess's. "Beautiful, I love it." She smiled, showing the clear white fangs in her mouth. Kimberly's smile was smug, she looked like a cat with the way her lips curved up into a smile. "N-nice to meet you." Jolin stuttered, looking at Kimberly with a glare. Bree scratched her knee, slouching as she did. Jolin kept from staring at Bree's chest, instead she looked up to her hair. "That's a very cool hairstyle!" Kimberly smiled, looked at her with the innocences of a puppy. "Thank you!" She paused, looking deep into Kimberly's eyes. "What?" Her smile seemed to fade. Brianna smiled, pointed to her eyes. "Your eyes are different colors."
"Oh yeah, it's a medical condition, and sometimes I really don't like it." Kimberly rubbed her elbow. "Really?" Bree got closer. "You should cherish it, it makes you stand out. In my opinion, it makes you look more pretty." Jolin watched as Kimberly awkwardly smiled, fixing her glasses, gulping. "Thank you... that's very sweet," Kimberly looked at Jolin, a disappointed face as she saw her cousin silently laughing at her demise. "So, what of it Jolin? What does this school have to offer...?"
"Well... uh,"
"That's fun?" Jolin paused. "That's fun? Probably the bus ride home." Bree laughed. "God, her laugh is perfect too." Jolin thought. Kimberly munched on an apple, as Bree started to talk about herself. Although it was one of Jolin's pet peeves, she found Brianna interesting. Her last name was Waters, and she had a single mother, who she really appreciates. Her mother worked two jobs just to support Bree. Jolin found it sad that her dad wasn't in the picture. She had an older brother, about 25 years old. Somehow Bree had a lot in common with the two of them. But her body and her personality had Jolin trapped in a frenzy of blind red. She found herself thinking about Bree, in a way she would never think about for other people. Bree had a small waist, with wide hips, a pretty face, and a lovely personality. She was a perfect human. After lunch the three walked together until one departed, going to their classes. Now it was just Jolin and Bree. They soon found out that they had the same classes together, and they were in the same home room. Jolin found herself getting unbearably close to her, smelling her perfume, which coated her nose. Vanilla, it made her mouth water, and she wanted to bathe in it. They sat next to each other in every class. She was smart, and always had the answer. It was a challenge not to rub against her for Jolin. Soon the end of the day came, and Jolin thanked god that she wasn't on the same bus with Bree. Riding back home, she silently sat thinking about Bree. "What's wrong with you?" Kimberly asked, watching as Jolin seem to keep a smile on her face. "Nothing, just..." she sighed, rubbing the back of her head. Really thinking about it, she could never bring herself to date a girl. Although she was attracted to both genders, she didn't know if her parents would support it. And even worse, what if Bree wasn't into it? She sighed, letting her head drift off to the side. "Nothing... never mind." Kimberly shrugged, looking out the window.Back home, she tapped her desk, bobbing her head to the heavy metal music in her headphones. Her mother opened the door. Somehow getting Jolin's attention, getting her to pause the blaring music. "Hey, dinner's ready." Jolin nodded putting the headphones down on the desk. "I'll be down in a minute..." Jolin shouted after her mom. Maybe in less than a minute she was down, and sitting down for dinner, seeing the noddles in front of her in a bowl. Jeffrey was munching on his dinner, thanking Angelica as he did. "You're welcome." She said after Jolin said thank you. Her head was filled with thoughts, thinking about Bree. Soon dinner was over, and she upstairs brushing her teeth and getting ready to go to sleep, before she heard a small crack outside, like a branch snapping. Looking outside she saw a van, and some people climbing into it. It wasn't that big of a deal. Those people could probably just be picking up a friend for a party. She found that part odd, it was only a Tuesday. Shrugging, she made her way to her bed, turning off the light as she did. "Teenagers will be teenagers." She thought before drifting away.
