The next day at school, Jolin had something to look forward to. At the same time, she kept running into Mark Brown, who kept smiling at her. It was early morning when he first looked at her, looking up and down, and smiling. Her morning seem to be hell, until Bree walked in. Jolin's breath was taken away, as she came in was a black undershirt and a blood red leather sweater. Black ripped jeans, and boots that had buckles. She gulped, as Bree smiled, flashing her white teeth. Most of the boys were looking at her as she walked over to Jolin. "Hey!" Brianna smiled, pulling up a chair. "Hello..." Jolin blushed, smiling like an idiot. "I really like your outfit today, Jolin." She looked down at her own clothing. Black yoga pants, with a crop top. She found Bree looking her up and then down, stopping at her chest. "Suits you well." She regained eye contact, with a devilish smile on her face. "Oh my god, this can't be happening." Jolin whimpered underneath her breath, hiding her cheeks. When Mr. Davis asked for homework, Bree whipped it out, giving him the paper. "Very nice, miss Waters... well done!" Jolin handed him her paper, watching as he walked off. "So, tell me Jolin..." she snapped her head back to Bree. "Are you a schoolgirl, or do you know how to have fun?" Jolin felt her stomach turn upside down as she said the last part with a toothy smirk. "Uhm, I can have fun."
"Really? Prove it." Bree crossed her arms. "Oh, if I could kiss you I would..." Jolin thought staring deep into Bree's eyes. "Okay," Jolin smiled, walking her fingers along the table surface, getting closer to Bree. Thinking about inviting her over, she could see how it would go... but with her quirky father there, it would make her think that she was a weirdo. "How about we go over to your house?" With a wide smile Bree agreed. Soon they were off to another class. Mark followed Jolin, sitting as close to her as possible, the last period before lunch, Bree put a hand on Jolin's thigh, leaning in. If her warm hand up against her thigh didn't make her breath hitch, the fact that her warm breath against her ear sent a shiver down her spine. "Do you know why this guy is following you?" She whispered. Jolin swallowed the extra saliva her mouth had brewed, and spoke. "Usually, but he's just a douche." Jolin whispered back. "Do you need me to pretend to be your girlfriend to get him off your back. Most likely he's trying to ask you out."
"Anything to get him off my back." Jolin whispered. Thinking about it, she might just have sighed herself up for a heart attack. Although they only have been friends for one day, ONE day... Jolin felt a little too connected to her, and she felt like Bree had felt the same way. They had that kind of bond that was only made by years of forging a friendship. Soon the bell rang, and the two walked down the hall, conscious of Mark following behind. Bree held a tight grip on Jolin's shoulder, rubbing up and down with her thumb. Bree's boots had put her up a couple inches taller than what she actually was. Jolin walked next to her, feeling the blood pool into her cheeks. Soon Jolin got to her locker, watching as Bree carelessly threw her stuff inside it. Taking note of Mark, she saw his toothy grin. Putting her stuff inside, and turning around, she was face to face with Bree, staring intently into her eyes. "He's still staring... isn't he?" Jolin whimpered, feeling trapped in between Bree and the locker. "With a creepy smile, yes." Bree cupped her chin, drawing circles with her thumb. "What are you doing...?" Jolin whispered. "Making it look real." Bree grasped her soldier, still drawing circles on her chin. Jolin's life flashed before her eyes, as Bree started to lean down, staring at her lips. Titling her head upwards, Jolin closed her eyes, the same time Bree did. Their noses touched, and Jolin was ready for Bree's lips to be pressed down on hers. She felt her lips, press down hard on hers. She was sweet and sour at the same time. Fire and ice. Like a lemon, but she had sweet infused within her lips. After a long kiss, they departed, looking in the corners of their eyes, noticing that Mark had walked away. "Damn," Bree thought staring down at Jolin's lips. The two knew they enjoyed that a little too much. Despite only knowing each other for a day, they felt like they've known each other for years. But they both were completely fine with it. Walking into the lunchroom, and getting their meals, they sat down with Kimberly, who looked shocked at them. "So..." Kimberly started. "I saw you guys kiss in the hallway." They both looked off, blushing as they did. "You guys have only known each other for a day, and you're already kissing?" Kimberly held back a laugh. "Listen it was only because Mark was looking at me, and making me feel uncomfortable." Looking at them through her eyebrows, Kimberly smiled. "Yeah-huh." Bree looked away, tapping her chin with her finger. "Anyways, do you guys have anything fun planned after school?" Jolin nodded. "Yeah, we were going to go back to Bree's house. Wanna come?" Kimberly nodded.  "This is going to be so fun."

Kimberly had texted her mom that she was going to Bree's house with Jolin, and Jolin texted her dad to tell him the same thing. Riding on the bus with Bree, Kimberly and Jolin were dropped off with Brianna. Walking down the sidewalk, they were met with a beautiful navy blue house. Although it wasn't bad looking, you could definitely tell that into one person works in the household. Walking inside, the air consisted of lemon, and clean floors. "Brinley?" Bree called out, setting her backpack down. Kimberly heard huffing, and nails softly scraping the floor. Rounding the corner was an all white husky, with one brown eye and one blue eye. Jolin smiled, noticing he eyes immediately. Looking over to Kimberly, she held back a laugh. "Shut up." Bree looked back to Kimberly then back to the dog. "I hate you." Bree chuckled, scratching the dog's ears. "Look! It's your twin!" Jolin joked. "Goddamnit."

Getting outside the three ran around, laughing as some tripped. They used the trampoline to their advantage, waiting until Brianna's mom came back from work, but for now, they bounced high in the air, pushing each other around. "You really do know how to have fun." Bree smiled at Jolin, hopping down from the trampoline. "Aw, shoot." Kimberly checked her phone, scrolling the messages. "Jolin, our mom's want us to get ready to leave." Jolin frowned, walking inside with Kimberly. Bree drank water, watching the two get ready. "Well, this was really fun, we should definitely do this again."
"Agreed." Bree nodded. My mom should be here any minute to pick us up, so... bye Bree, c'mon Jolin." Jolin walked to the doorframe looking back to Bree. "See you tomorrow Bree." Brianna waved. Stepping outside, Jolin found herself feeling drowsy. The world seem to spin a lot faster than usual, and soon Jolin was back home, laying down. Jumping on the trampoline was tiring, but what was even more tiring is the fact that she had to think about today, and what had happened. This was a mind twister, and before she knew it, she was drifting off to sleep, not bothering with eating food, just wanting to rest.
