Chapter 12

(Christian pov)

Justin looked a little caught up in his thoughts maybe I should say something to him, when I was about to say something to him he had finished eating half of his food and left the kitchen looking a little confused I think.

"OH MY GOD" I heard Justin yell and my and the other guys looked at each other then ran to the living room, "What's wrong? " Elijah said "h-he's aw-awake. He was staring at the ceiling then closed his eyes again" Justin stutter cutely I might add. We walked over to Jaces his eyes was closed but his skin wasn't as pale anymore he looked a lot better then before which I was happy about "I don't think he's that much out of it anymore he's looking better then before so maybe he'll wake up more later on" I said.

It's been 2 hours and still no movement or eye opening from Jace. Elijah and Mason had to go into work so me and Justin are staying home with Jace, I could tell Justin was upset a little because we still haven't told him the truth about anything it's just that we are waiting for Jace to get better so we can tell him together hopefully in the end he'll understand why we lied.

It's getting dark out and Elijah and Mason isn't back yet and I've been blowing up there phones and not either one of them are picking up "they still aren't answering are they" Justin says look angry but sad at the same time "no there not but I'm sure there fine" Justin just shrugs his shoulders going back to staring and holding Jace's hand.

(Elijah pov)

Me and Mason left the house because we got called into "work" Justin was upset at us but he doesn't understand yet so I get why he's upset.

We had to go down to one of the warehouses to check and make sure everything is going smoothly so there isn't any mess ups with this shipments like last time. "Hey Jorge, is all the damn shipments ready to be shipped we don't need anymore fuck ups like last time" Mason said with his cold deadly face "y-yes everything is ready sir" Jorge said looking nerves. When we are at "work" we are different people because we have to be, we can't show weakness or someone might try something on us so we turn to cold hearted people who doesn't care for others but at home we can be ourselves and put our walls down but still be cautious.

It's dark now and we still aren't done here. I checked my phone to see a bunch of miss calls from Mason, I know him and Justin are gonna be mad at us for not calling to check in but we can't so we'll deal with it later.

By time we get home it's almost 10 at night but the light are still on so we know there up still. Me and Mason looked at each other took a deep breath and walked in, "we're back" I said but no response so we go to the kitchen but know ones there so we go in the living room and see Justin sleeping on Jace's arm and Mason stretched out on one of the other couches. "Great there asleep so now we have to deal with them yelling at us in the morning" Mason said I just laughed at him he's very dramatic sometimes like it can't be that bad right?

Next morning-

(Justin pov)

I woke up to someones phone ringing oh wait it's mine,

Me- hello?

Miley- hey sorry I didn't mean to wake you I just wanted to talk to you about something.

Me- no it's fine I was gonna have to get up soon anyways so what's up?

Miley- I wanted to let you know I was coming to California in a couple of weeks and would you be able to pick me up from the airport?

Me- great I can't wait to see you and I can pick you up. Where are you going to be staying?

Miley- I don't know yet I can't find any hotels that are not all booked up

Me- we have a shit ton of extra rooms here at the house I can talk to everyone to see if it's cool if you stay here while your in California

Miley- really? That's great thanks

Me- no problem that's what best friends are for to make your life hell and fun at the same time

Miley- well that is true. I gotta go but I love you and I'll call you when I'm about to leave bye love

Me- love you to bye

I can't wait to see Miley I really do miss her, she's been there for me through everything. "Morning, who was that? " Christian said "damn Christian you scared me. How long have you been standing there anyways" I said trying to calm my breathing "long enough now who was that" he said in a demanding voice, I was shocked he could be so demanding when he's all flirty and quiet but it was sexy as hell.

"It was one of my friends she coming to visit me but she also has business here" I said looking anywhere else but him. I could see him getting closer to me from the corner of my eye, he raised my chin so that I was looking at him in the eyes "is it a girl or a boy? " he said in a dead sexy voice that makes my knees weak "i-its a g-girl" I said stuttering ugh why do I always stutter when I'm nerves "good" he said and kissed my cheek I could feel me leaning into his touch but he pulled away "I'm going to take a shower" he said and left.

After that whole thing in the kitchen earlier I needed a cold shower. After my long shower don't ask why it was long it just was I went down stairs to the living room to sit with Jace till he wakes up. Elijah came in he looked a little scared or something I don't know his face was a mixture of emotions "hey I um called one of my doctor friends she's going to be coming to check out Jace " he said "ok" I didn't even look at him, this is the second time they have done this even Christian was mad that they weren't picking up any of his calls it's just starting to piss me off more.

30 minutes later I heard a knock on the door so I answered it "hi can I help you" I ask "hi yes I'm Eva I'm Elijah's doctor friend I'm here to check on Jace " I nodded and let her in showing her where he is "he's fine just make sure to change his bandage before he goes to bed and he should also be waking up soon" she said "ok thank you" she nodded and packed her things up "is Elijah here I need to talk to him about something" "yea I'll go get him" I said and when I came back following Elijah he had this great big smile on his face like why was he smiling so damn hard at her. He walked her to her car so they could talk I found that weird like what's so important that you need to talk in previous. I don't even know why I care, I just went back to sitting and waiting for Jace to wake up.
