Chapter 13

I woke sitting up slightly my neck and back hurt same with my legs "okay time to find somewhere new..to keep you safe" I mumbled looking down at the journal before slowly finding my way down the tree it was also early morning it things were damp.

I got down finally grabbing the journal and started walking out the forest I saw a small town not to far I walked there just getting a feel for the area it was nice out here seemed like a lot of country Sap would like it out here...I walked into the town and noticed some people looking at me others not caring it was a pretty modern town it was a peaceful walk until a group of people came over "you just came out of the forest right?" "yes I did why?" "can you please come with us?" another asked "oh uh yeah sure" I followed as they walked i noticed even more eyes on me.

I found myself in front of a decent sized building "just right through here please" they opened the door I went in following a couple of them we got to another door and they knocked on it "we found someone who came out of the forest!" I didn't hear the response but I assumed it was come in or along those lines I also wanted to ask about the importance of the forest.

They gently pushed me into the room only two of them coming in and closing the door behind them I looked ahead to see a woman and man standing there looking at me, I looked down "um hello my name is Karl, Karl Jacobs" "I know who you are Karl" I looked up the the pair at the other end of the room, the woman wore all white she looked very pretty the male wore all black he also looked very nice.

"H-how do you know my name? Have we met before?" I asked "we have" the woman said coming over gently setting her hand onto my cheek then pulled out a white tulip I looked at it then up at her the look in her eyes then she whispered something about my time traveling I backed up against the door looking at the other male he mouthed "run" as he started to get up.

I opened the door running I noticed how the building was spilt in designs and in color I stuck to the darker side and hid behind a bookshelf I closed my eyes I could hear a female voice as it hummed getting closer I covered my mouth and nose with one hand and held onto my journal to my chest, the footsteps stopped but the humming got louder "Karl I'm not here to hurt you I am here to help you" she said reminding me of the books.

I closed my eyes when I heard her walking away I suddenly got yanked out thrown onto the floor "ack!" I looked up to see her she leaned into my face getting closer as if she was going to kiss me I looked away, she set her forehead against me then things felt so fuzzy I looked around slightly and she was gone, the male came over grabbing my face gently then set his forehead against mine I blinked and he was gone.

Then my head started to hurt badly I whimpered curling up I couldn't breathe I could feel grass but I didn't know where I was everything hurt it was hard to breathe.

"Karl"

"Karl"

"Karl!"

"Karl!"

I just kept hearing my name from to many voices I couldn't even do anything.

^Sapnap Pov:
I lifted up Karl's chin he was doing the thing with his eyes were they swirled with color but it wasn't the teal and magenta..it was white in black his hoodie was also all grey with a half white half black swirl in the middle.

"Q call Bad please.." I looked up to him he nodded and walked inside quickly "Karl...please wake up...bub please I we need you.." I kissed his forehead Quackity sat next to me as I brought Karl into our arms holding him close we both noticed as tears started going down his cheeks. Quackity started to wipe them away "he has the blank stare like a doll" he said quietly I nodded.

"Sapnap, Quackity! There you two are" Bad said worried I looked to him as tears started to go down my face "dad...he isn't responding.. please" I whimpered out he came over gently rubbing my face "shh it's okay Nick, I can take him inside you two wait out here" Bad took Karl from us and walked inside.

^Quackity Pov:
I was starting to get worried..'i can't lose another lover...' I thought starting to think back on my past I curled up tears slowly started to go down from my eyes onto my knees "Quackity.. breathe" I heard as I heard a heartbeat I glanced up my eyes playing tricks on me.

I grabbed onto the male's face kissing him deeply he slowly kissed back I opened my eyes as I pulled away to see Sapnap I just hid my face clinging onto him "I can't lose you and Karl...or I might just..kill myself.." I muttered Sapnap lifted my chin "shh it's going to be okay, Bad will take care of him I promise"

^Karl Pov:
I found myself standing in a mix of the in-between and other side with the people versions of them I guess arguing but now it just looked like two versions of me one wearing all white the other all black I looked at myself I had a grey hoodie on, I walked over "Karl please pick a side" I found it odd hearing my own voice.

"Karl please the in-between is meant to keep you safe"

"If you stay there you'll lose yourself and become trapped never seeing your friends again"

"Karl the in-between is meant to keep you safe, if you leave again you'll forget everything"

I stood looking at the two before the journal I knew it was the real one despite being in my head "I chose.. neither" I ripped the journal in half "I'm done being forced to time travel I will travel on my own when I want to!"

Things they went dark as I heard Sapnap and Quackity calling for me and something other noises, I felt like it was forever since I heard the two and that I've been stuck in this void..wait who was missing?
