Ally-

The whole way home Lauren was asking questions. Questions that I couldn't answer , not without betraying Camila's trust.
She wanted to know everything about why Mila was sick. But I couldn't tell her.
When Lauren finally finds out about the cancer, it will have come from Camila herself. Not anyone else.

As soon as we got back to the stadium we were blindsided with question's from Dinah and Normani. Demi did her best to answer them to put their mind's at rest, but I'm pretty sure that they knew it was only half the truth.
Half truths...I have been spinning a lot of those lately.

"So why is she sick?" Dinah slumped down onto the couch next to me.

"I uhhh...I'm pretty sure they said it was just a 24 hour virus." I flipped the page in the hard cover bound book.
"Your 'pretty' sure? Or your sure? There's a big difference Ally."

I looked up at Dinah rolling my eye's in annoyance.
"Well they just gave her an IV drip so yeah...I'm sure."
I turned back to the book In my hands. Dinah didn't say another word, but ended up leaving me in silence to my book.

The next two weeks seemed to drag on forever. Fifth Harmony continued to tour and perform each night, but at the same time Camila continued to struggle through daily life, attending doctors appointments and avoiding the truth.
As for the new addition to the tour. Camila was avoiding Austin like the plague. Any time he entered the same room as her she would silently disappear from the group.
Things had gotten worse for Mila the past few days. She looked more and more exhausted every day. She was forgetting lyrics to songs on stage and disappointing fans by not even bothering to turn up to meet and greets on time. Sometimes not at all.

I couldn't concentrate, my eye's kept reading the same sentence over and over again. It was like I couldn't focus on anything. I had been reading the same book for weeks now and had only managed to advance three page's.
I didn't even notice when Lauren entered the room.
"Ally? Ally? Ally!" I looked up to see Lauren snapping her fingers in front of my face.
"Oh sorry. What's up?" I closed my book shut giving Lauren my full attention. Her composure was slipping between an angry and frantic state.
"Where's Camila?! We have rehearsals in 5 minute's!"

I sat up from my laid back spot on the couch.
"I thought she was in her bunk?"

"No she's not! Listen I know she's going through something, which she is refusing to tell me! But she better pull herself together and start acting like she has responsibilities. Because there are 5 people in this group and everyone has to pull their weight." Lauren stormed off exiting the bus.

I sighed, grabbing my phone and headed after her into the stadium.

I made my way backstage to find Dinah, Normani and Lauren had already grabbed their mics and had started warming up.
"Ally! Boo where you been!" Dinah wrapped her arm around me whilst I suited myself up with my mic pack.

"Sorry I was reading!" She laughed at me.

"Of course. You and Mila are the same of a kind." Dinah smiled.
"Uhh I'm pretty sure it's one of a kind Dinah!" Lauren yelled from across the stage.
"Shut up!" Dinah sent Lauren a playful glare. "So speaking of Mila, where is she?" She turned her gaze back to me.
"I don't know."
"Ally I know something's going on with her. And you know what it is. Don't even try to lie girl, I'm not stupid."
"Look. Go find her. I'll cover for you." She thanked me with a smile and took off immediately.
