Chapter Three

Zelda woke up at 6:30 am, dragging herself out of her bed and out of her room. Picking out an outfit for the day, something similar to what she wore the night before - black jeans with a cream turtle neck and the hoodie she stole from Link. Picking up a decently sized satchel and putting the essentials inside. Not paying attention to how brightly lit the apartment was, she walked to the door next to her room and stepped in. It was her bathroom, Link had his own on the other side of the apartment. Having a shower and getting ready for the day she walked into the living room, seeing a passed out Link on the couch under a blanket, cans of energy drinks on the coffee table and the TV on the screen of some game. Sighing, she turned off the TV and cleaned up the cans. Checking the time to see it was 7:06 am. So much for getting an early nights rest.

She left him for a bit, starting to brew some coffee before walking back over to Link. Poking at him until he shifted and fell off the couch. Letting out a pained noise he sat up, one eye closed and the other half open as he tried to understand the situation. Standing up he almost fell, regaining balance, stretching and yawning. He was half-naked, Zelda stared at him with a half-annoyed look before passing him the coffee.

"Wakey wakey Link, we've got to go in 30 minutes and you look like the living dead! Go shower and I'll pick out an outfit for you." Zelda sighed, watching Link take a few sips of coffee before putting it on the coffee table and stumbling to his bathroom, yawning on the way there. Sighing again, Zelda walked into his room and looked around for something for him to wear. Finding a cream short-sleeved shirt and some ripped denim jeans and a denim jacket that had a red hood.

Deciding Link would be capable enough for the rest of his clothes she went to leave before being met with a wet Link at the door, who had a towel wrapped around his waist. She stepped aside for him and he nodded as she left. Man, he looked more dead than a corpse and a wet cat simultaneously.

She was sat on the couch scrolling through her phone when Link returned a few minutes later, wearing what Zelda had picked out for him. He went over to where his satchel was and phone and made sure he had everything. Both of them leaving the apartment while Zelda messaged the group chat that she, Mipha and Urbosa made called the 'Perfect Pretty Girls'.

Zelda: 'I think Link died last night, he looked like he's not slept in weeks. At least, not properly'

Mipha: 'Morning Zelda! Yeah, he was probably up playing games last night like he usually does.'

Zelda: 'But why?'

Mipha: 'No idea... He should perk up later though!'

Urbosa: 'It's 7:46 am, you better hurry Zelda or you're going to miss the bus off campus.'

Zelda: 'Gotcha.'

Zelda turned her phone off, grabbing Links hand and dragging him out to the bus stop. He was surprisingly easy to guide, probably due to him being half asleep. Upon arriving at the bus stop, Zelda saw Urbosa and Mipha getting on, joining them they sat at some seats that faced each other. If anything, the bus felt more like a train with how the seats were positioned.

Once they had all settled, Link leaned on Zelda and fell asleep again, Zelda sighing at him. "Are any of his lectures early? At this point, I'm not surprised he's late to them."

Urbosa responded, "As far as we're aware, the little voe only has afternoon lectures. Well, he only attends afternoon lectures."

"He'll wake up when Daruk sees him anyway," Mipha added in, "And Rivali won't let this slide if Link gets caught napping. It's a good thing both of them don't take the bus or else Link would be tortured right now."

Zelda nodded as the three of them slowly drifted into a conversation, talking about all sorts until they arrived at their destination. Zelda lightly poked Link awake, he stirred a bit before getting pulled to his feet by Urbosa.
