They watch as they put Adam on a stretcher. "Did it go in?" he asks, "Yea man" Jesse replies. "He just woke up and that's the first thing he asks?" Charlie asks Peyton. "Hockey is his life, of course it's the first thing he would ask". "Jesse do me a favor, Kick some Hawk butt" Adam says weakly. Jesse chuckles, "All right, Cake-Eater". 

Adam gets carried away on the stretcher with his dad walking beside him "Hell of a job, Son" his dad says. 

They go back to playing and Coach Reilly is giving his team a "Pep-Talk". "They score against us, they're gonna pay the price" He protests. Coach Bombay walks over to Coach Reilly. "To think I wasted all those years worrying about what you thought, your going down Reilly." He says confidently.

Charlie notices that Peyton is a little off, ".You okay?" he asks. "Yea I'm fine just a little worried about Banks." She replies. "Ooooo, looks like someone's got a little crush", "Shut up, Charlie" She replies almost immediately, "Whatever you say sis". Peyton gives her twin brother a death stare.

It's in the 3rd period of the game Fulton is going in to take his shot, Jesse had to make sure he gave Fulton plenty of time. Guy takes the face-off and passes the puck to Fulton. Jesse knocks down a couple Hawks players in order to give Fulton time. Fulton knocks the goalie into the net, making him score. "Good job Fulton" "Attaway". "Yeah!" Fulton cheers. 

The score is now 3-2 Hawks. The Hawks have the puck, Guy knocks down the Hawk player allowing Peter to get the puck and pass it to Peyton, she starts to skate down the line as a Hawk player comes and takes the puck from her. "Dammit". McGill trips over himself allowing Peter to get the puck again, but instead of passing the puck he skates down the ice himself. A Hawk player comes from behind and take the puck from Peter. The Hawk player passes to Blake allowing him to make the shot with a back-hand.

The Hawks still lead with a score of 4-2. Coach Bombay decided to put Tammy and Tommy in to play. Averman gets the puck and Tammy starts spinning distracting the Hawks players. "Come on" We all say from the bench. "Now" Tommy yells to Tammy. Tommy passes the puck to Tammy allowing Tammy to score. "Yea! Attaway Tommy and Tammy!" Peyton says excitedly. Yes! Yes! We're still alive" Coach Bombay exclaims. 

Tammy makes her way back to the bench as one of the Hawks players comes and shoves her down. "I'm on coach" Fulton says as he takes off his helmet and skates towards the Hawks bench. "What is he doing?" Peyton asks Charlie, "I don't know, but it don't look good" He replies. We watch as Fulton lifts up McGill and tosses him over the boards into the bench. "Oooooo" they all say. "That had to hurt" Connie exclaims. "Tell me about it" Peyton says. The ref's come and get Fulton away from the Hawks bench. "I'm off coach" Fulton says as he skates away. "He barely touched him" Bombay tries to protest. 

Coach Bombay calls over the oreo line and tells them to do a Flying "V".  "All right" Jesse and Guy exclaim. "Flying V" Bombay calls from the bench. Jesse goes behind the net as the rest of the team joins him. The skate down the ice in a "V" formation. "Come on, Come on" We all say from the bench. Jesse has the puck as the 4 others knock the Hawks players down allowing Jesse to come up the middle and score. Peyton loved that her teammates were doing well but she couldn't help but think about her friend who wasn't there with them, Banks. "Are you sure your okay?" Charlie asks once again. "I'm fine, but I need to talk to you later" she replies. "Okay?" Charlie says confused, but focuses his attention back to the game. 

The game is now tied, 4-4, The Hawks ice the puck allowing the Ducks to get the puck back, there is 23 seconds left in the game, the Hawk got the puck back and are skating down the ice towards the goal. The Ducks knock the hawk player down allowing the puck to go out of his reach but unfortunately the puck goes through the Ducks legs and allows the Hawks to regain the puck. Morgan goes to shoot but Goldberg blocks it. "Huge save Goldberg! we'll get em in over time!" Bombay yells from the bench. 

Averman passes the puck to Charlie, he skates across the blue line and goes down the middle, he has a chance to win the game, but one of the Hawks players came from behind and hooks him, causing him to fall and lose the puck. "Hey! Where's the call?!" Coach says from the bench. The referee calls a penalty shot. "All right Ducks, who's gonna take it?" Gordon asks. "I think he should take it" Connie says pointing to Guy. "Me?" Guy replies. "What about Charlie?" Coach Bombay suggests. "Let him finish what he started" Bombay says. "Coach we have a chance to win" Charlie says. Peyton always hated the way he looked down on himself. "Damn straight we do" coach exclaims. "Come here, You been practicing that Triple Deke?" Coach asks. "Yeah", "then your all set, one, two, three, triple deke." "Thanks coach", "go get em". He goes back over to the bench. "All right Charlie" " You got it Charlie"  they all say. Before he goes to take the shot I go over to him, "Hey, you got this, just remember what you were taught." I pat his shoulder and he skates to the center of the rink. 

"Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, Charlie" We all chant. Charlie skates around the puck waiting for the signal, he gets the go signal and starts skating down the ice with the puck. He does his triple deke, faking out the goalie, he shoots, and he scores. Everyone cheers. "Attaway Charlie!" I say excitedly. She skates over to her twin and hugs him. The ducks won 4-5. Everyone gets in a group hug. Everyone is so excited over the victory but all Peyton can think about is her one teammate who isn't there to celebrate with them. As we are all cheering, She turns around to see Guy and Connie kissing. "Ooooo looks like we have a knew couple in town." She says to Charlie. Charlie chuckles "Looks that way". "Hey Connie, Hey Guy, Y'all wanna come over here and celebrate or keep smoochin away?". Connie giggles and starts to skate towards Peyton.

Well, the Ducks had one the Championship against the Hawks and now Peyton and Charlie are walking home with Connie, considering they are neighbors. They arrive at their houses and share their goodbyes, "So what was it that you needed to talk to me about?" Charlie asks.
