"Can we talk?"

"Yea sure" Peyton replies. They walk over to the other side of the lobby and face each other. "I'm really sorry, Peyton." Adam starts. "I shouldn't have accused you of liking him back based off what I heard."

"It's okay but just so you know, nothing happened in the locker room. He was just apologizing about what happened with Stannson and then, well, you saw what happened." Peyton explains. "Wait, something happened with Stannson?"

"Yea, he tried to get me to join his team, even tried to bribe me." Peyton says chuckling. "Damn, he must be desperate." Adam jokes. "Hey!" Peyton says, slapping his arm playfully. "I'm kidding but I'll beat Gunnar and Stannson's ass if I need too"

"I'd like to see you try." She laughs. "Eh whatever." Adam sighs. "Are we good now?" Adam asks. "Yes Banksie, yes we are." She replies, pulling him in for a kiss. "Oooooooooo" The teammates say. "Oh shut up!" Peyton says, pulling away. They walk back over to the group and Peyton sits next to Charlie and Connie while Adam sits next to Guy and Luis. "Are y'all good now?" Charlie asks. "Yes Charlie." the couple answers. "Okay good because I hate seeing you cry." Charlie admits to Peyton. "I think we can all agree to that." Averman laughs. "Yeah, you were a mess." Goldberg adds. "Puh-lease, if that was you, you would do the same thing and you know it." Peyton responds. "Yeah, you wonder why you've never had a girlfriend, Goldberg!" Adam snaps. "Yea but if I did, I wouldn't make her cry."

"Hey!" Peyton yells. "Stop! We just got out of a fight, we don't need another one!"

"She's right guys." Julie adds. "I'm not looking for a fight, I'm just telling the truth. Listen Peyton, I would never make you cry like he did." Goldberg says, hitting on Peyton. She slaps Goldberg right in the face. "Fuck you Goldberg!" She says, storming off. She ran to her room and slammed the door shut. She ran over to her bed and flopped on it. She groaned and stuffed her face in a pillow. She was deep in thought until she heard a knock on the door. "Come in." She muttered. "Hey, it's me." Connie said, walking over to the bed. She sat down on the edge and looked over at Peyton. "What Goldberg did was pretty shitty." Connie says. "Why are you being so nice to me all of a sudden, I mean we were best friends, then you posted an instagram post about me and you started talking shit about me, and now all of a sudden your my best friend again. I just don't understand." Peyton says. "Look, I'm sorry about all that, I was a bitch to you and I had no reason to, I was just jealous."

"Jealous of me? Why? There is nothing to be jealous of."

"Nothing to be jealous of? Look at you, your beautiful, not to mention, you've got guys swarming you and you are good at hockey. You are everything that I want to be." Connie admits.

"Oh man, I'm sorry Connie. You shouldn't be jealous of me because I'm not that perfect. You've seen me at my lowest and it isn't pretty. You are just as beautiful and gorgeous as I am. You are also really good at hockey. Not to mention you are with Guy and he loves you more than anything, hell, he loves you more than hockey."

"I know, I miss you as my friend, Peyton."

"I miss you too, Connie"

"Best friends?"

"Best friends." Peyton agrees. "Glad to see that you guys made up, now can I speak to my girlfriend?" Adam says, batting his eyelashes. "Yes Adam, you can talk to your girlfriend." Connie says, walking out. Adam nods and walks over to Peyton. He sits next to her and looks at her. "Don't worry, Goldberg didn't get away with that." Adam says. "I figured that." Peyton says chuckling. "Are you okay?" He asks. "Yea just a little uncomfortable." She admits. "Yea, well you did just get hit on by someone other than me." He jokes.  "Yea, I did, and it was someone I would never ever date." She says. "Wanna cuddle?" Adam asks. "Is that even a question?" Peyton says. Peyton curls up next to Adam and puts her arm around his torso. He wraps one arm around her waist and the other around her back. "I love you." Peyton says.

"I love you too." 

And with that Peyton fell asleep. She didn't think about anything. She simply enjoyed the comfort of her boyfriend. She was finally getting a good night's sleep and she couldn't be happier.
