The prophecy about the Queen of Wolves was written centuries ago. There, it was laid, the power that the Phoenix holds is the ability to connect with the nature, mainly, with the four elements– fire, earth, wind and water.

The most important power of the Phoenix is the ability to rise the dead. With their soulful, singing voice, the Queen can bring back a life that once was gone.

All of these has been proven true with the existence of Taehyung. Namjoon had witnessed how his brother discovered the given gifts of the Moon to him. And from the moment that their mother died, he swore to protect Taehyung from all harm.

His identity and ability was kept hidden. It was the only thing that Namjoon could do to protect his little brother from warewolves who had been anticipating the coming of the Phoenix to feed on their personal greed.

All of the years he spent protecting Taehyung has paid off. Because now, Taehyung has learned to protect himself. He has also found himself a mate to spend his life with.

Now, the only mystery about the Phoenix– is his own prophecy, his real purpose. It is given that he's called as the Queen of the Wolves because of his powers. But the healers and witches deeply believes, that his purpose on Earth is beyond that.

The Moon has never truly said why he sent Taehyung. But the witches, can tell– can feel– it will be revealed soon.

"The Alpha of the Northern Moon Pack has sent a message, Taehyung. Along with the jade necklace again," Daniel said, extending his hand to give the letter.

Taehyung only hummed as he reads the message of the alpha, consisting of his apology for his actions and his gratefulness from sparing his life. He's also thankful for the bountiful crops and trees of their pack and insists on accepting the jade necklace.

"Thank you, Dani," Taehyung said and smiled at him sadly. "Are you really going to live with your mate now? I'll miss having you here."

Daniel smiled and sat beside Taehyung, hugging him sideways. "I'll visit you often, Taehyung. You know I can't leave you like that. After all, I swore my loyalty to you." He grins. "Hoseok would often visit Dark Hound. I'll always tag along, don't worry."

"That's good to hear. I'm so happy for you too, Dani. You've found your mate." Taehyung smiled cheekily. "Go now, Dani. Hoseok hyung doesn't really travelling when the weather's too hot."

"Then please make it cloudy,"

"Oh, yeah! I could do that!" Taehyung sweetly smiled, too immersed in the conversation to notice Jeongguk, who's smiling at his mate's fascinated face.

Soon enough, Taehyung smells his comforting scent and he swiftly turned around to find Jeongguk. His face brightens with the sight of his mate, who he dearly miss since they didn't had breakfast and lunch together.

"Hello, love." Jeongguk greets and felt Taehyung hugged him by the waist, the side of his head pressed on his hip. The Alpha leaned down to kiss his head in affection. "I came down to see you. What are you doing right now?"

"Nothing, just talking to Dani." Taehyung mumbles, inhaling Jeongguk's scent. He looked up and saw that his mate has his eyes on him already. "Are you going to stay?"

Jungkook pecked his lips. "If you want me to. I have nothing to do, anyway. The next pack that will visit us will arrive next week."
