Taehyung slowly gained his conciousness. Before he could realize anything, he felt the pain shooting through his veins, numbing his muscles. The familiar pain he'd been feeling for the past days. It's back. The rejection pain is back.

He screamed in pain, resulting for the men to shudder in confusion and anger.

"Make him shut up!" Daehwa spoke, irritation all over his face. "If he won't shut up, don't blame me if I kill him!"

"Who the fuck do you think you are? You'll kill him? Tell that to Luna's face." Kai said. Daniel widened his eyes as a harsh slap came across the pained omega. "You won't really shut up?!"

"Fucking shut up you fools! Can't you see he's in pain?!" Daniel said, crouching down to Taehyung who's nearly crying from the pain. "Hey, you better shut up before these idiots do something to you."

"C-can't, r-rejection pain-" Taehyung cried, feeling another wave of pain shoothing through his spine. Daniel cursed. "H-help, please-"

"Shit, you'll die." Daniel whispered. "Hey! He needs his mate!"

"The fuck do you want to happen then? We'll return him? Hell no, Luna's going to kill us!" Kai spoke. "What's the matter? He's in heat? Well, I could-"

"Shut up." Daniel grumbled. Feeling aweful for the whimpering omega. He again cursed, contemplating on what he should do. If he won't return him to that alpha, the omega will die and most probably, death will come upon them too by the Luna.

Fuck.

Daniel grabbed Taehyung's arm. The others looked at him. "What? I'll assist him. You guys go and lead the way." He looked ahead and slowly lean his head towards Taehyung's ear. "I know why the Luna wants you. Because you're the Phoenix."

Taehyung panicked. "H-hey, hey, calm down, you got to trust me. Or else you'll die." Daniel leaned more. "I'll bring you back to your mate. But if shits happens, go do something. Okay?"

Taehyung slowly nodded, although he's unsure of what he can do now. He's in pain, it's overpowering his mind. He felt Daniel pushing him towards the tall grasses and bushes. He bit his lips, trying to supress his whimpers from the pain.

"You!" Kai growled.

"Shit!" Daniel cursed, pulling Taehyung as he run. Taehyung tried to run fast, although he could feel his limbs going weak. He shudders as a wolf lunged at Daniel. "Run!"

Taehyung tried running but another wolf caught his leg, throwing him down the ground. He tried shifting, but he couldn't due to the pain of rejection. His eyes landed on Daniel, who's being pinned by a wolf, saw him struggling.

Taehyung saw red after that. His eyes turned golden.

The next thing he knew, the wolf pinning Daniel flew away, now whimpering in pain as a pointed branch of tree strucked him. His eyes darted on the other two, a wave of wind hurling, making a small tornado of leaves swirrling around them. He gritted his teeth, the sky turning gray. A lightning strucked the two wolves and left them fidgeting in impact.

When he saw them all dead, his eyes turned back to normal as he fell into his knees, feeling worn out by his raging emotions.

Daniel saw all that.

"Y-you saved my life.." Daniel muttered, eyes wide. Taehyung looked at him and found him kneeling on his one knee as his right hand clutch onto his left chest. He bowed his head and again looked up. "It's my honor to be saved by you, Queen of the wolves."

Taehyung smiled weakly. "Bring me to my mate."

Jeongguk had been restless, running everywhere hoping to get any sign or scent of Taehyung. But his mate was blocked by too many scents and the fact that they're not mated made it even difficult, since he couldn't link him.

He halted as he smell the familiar scent of Taehyung, feeling him coming. But then, he felt another presence. He clenched his jaw and started running again.

"G-ggukie!"

Jeongguk turned around and saw Taehyung, being assisted by another warewolf. The alpha felt his heart clenching, as he felt the pain of Taehyung. He ran unto him and lunged forward, pulling him into a tight hug.

"H-hurts, everything, r-rejection, h-hurt-"

"I know. I know, pup. I know. I'm here." Jeongguk spoke, tightening his embrace as if it could take any pain of the omega. And it did. It really did. Slowly, Taehyung felt the pain subsiding. He felt Jeongguk's hands brushing his hair and his lips leaving small kisses on his forehead. He leaned towards his touch, wanting more. Needing more. "Pup, fuck. I'm sorry."

Taehyung whined and shook his head. "Not your fault.."

"But I should have protected you." Jeongguk growled lowly, cupping both of Taehyung's cheeks as he look deep into his eyes, feeling rage as he saw some cuts and a red mark of slap. "Tell me, who did this to you."

Taehyung shook his head. "I-I don't know-"

"I know." Daniel spoke, catching both of their attentions. The alpha growled at him, charging an attack.

"Jeongguk, no! H-he saved my life," Taehyung muttered, arms around Jeongguk. The alpha snarled. "Then speak."

"We work for our Luna. And trust me, none of us knew her true identity. All we know is that she wants your mate." Daniel spoke. "But after what happened awhile ago, I swear my life to be faithful to your mate. To the Phoenix."

Jeongguk was confused. What does Taehyung's wolf holds?

Before anyone could speak, they felt another presence. A scent of lemon and a scent of mint. They were familiar. Taehyung's eyes widened.

"Jimin?"
