"Jeongguk,"

"Moon," Jeongguk spoke, getting on his knees and bowing his head. "Thank you for visiting me,"

The divine celestial smiled at the respectful alpha and patted her bench. Jeongguk sat beside her.

"I have news for you," Moon spoke. "You're going to meet your mate today."

Something inside him sparked, like dust of euphoria and butterflies in his stomach. The mention of it-- it brought him delight.

"That's--that's wonderful.." Jeongguk answered. "But I fear I will only hurt my mate. I won't claim him, moon."

"I know, Jeongguk. I just wanted to let you know so you will be prepared." Moon smiled. "You will see a man carrying a basket of red roses today. And that man, is your mate. Your omega."

"Omega? My mate is omega?" Jeongguk asked, somehow amazed.

"I know. He's very rare, isn't he?" Moon teased. "An omega and alpha, that would be so wonderful and powerful, Jeongguk. Just the right couple for the throne that will be given to you. How sad if you would reject what's your destiny."

Jeongguk looked at moon, apologizing. Moon smiled.

"Don't worry, my child. You will always have me, guiding you in every decision you make." Moon spoke. "And if claiming your mate wasn't in your mind then nothing I could do about it. You have my support in everything you do, young alpha."

The brunnette finally smiled, bowing his head. "Thank you, moon."

He opened his eyes, breathing heavily as he blink. Moon visited him in his dreams. He felt a delight rumbling in his chest. The moon herself was the one who told him about his mate and he couldn't stop himself from thinking about it again.

But then again, he had made his mind a long time ago. That he would never fall for that mate spell, that he will be the one chasing his vises and choose the one he would love, not because they're bonded, but because they were truly inlove.

And omega? A male omega? Impossible. He will be worthless in his throne as the luna. No matter how rare is he, he does not deserve it. An alpha like him deserves an alpha as well, who would be by his side when the time comes he became the head alpha. He could not risk the future in the hands of omega.

His thoughts cut short when his mind went blank, as if it could not  acknowledge any thought at the moment, as his head was filled with an intoxicating, addicting scent of pepper and purple freesia. A hint of jasmine accords mingle with hibiscus blossom and rose scents. It smells so delicate, so fragile, so feminine.

A deep blue shade in his orbs flashed as he automatically walk down the aisle, following the overly addictive scent. His wolf was screaming in delight, heart pounding as he could not wait to unvail who owns the powerful scent that he's addicted.

And then he saw it. The boy who's carrying a basket of red roses, just like what moon had told him.

Mate.

It's him.

"Taehyung-ah!" Chung ha called, her hand holding her long dress as she run to the omega. Her mate could only watch her in horror.

"Can you not run you're pregnant!" Eun Woo spoke, worry all over his face for his mate. It made Taehyung coo.

"I heard you're visiting the Dark Hound Pack," Chung ha giggled and reached for a basket of red roses. "Please take this red roses for me and offer it to the moon fountain. I heard it's good for pregnancy. Pretty please taehyungie~"

"Don't worry, I will." Taehyung smiled. Chung ha bowed and thanked the kind omega, later on receiving a non stop nag from her mate from how she ran. Taehyung could only chuckle.

"The journey would take half an hour. We better start now before afternoon. The heat will freakin' kill us all," Hoseok spoke and the rest agreed. They started walking towards the north side of the mountain, where the Dark Hound is located.

Taehyung trailed behind Namjoon, who's his brother and the alpha of the Moon Blaze Pack. Beside him was Hoseok, who's a beta and the second hand of the alpha. Behind them was a handful numbers of beta warriors, carrying some of the offerings and gifts for the Dark Hound pack.

It was before afternoon when they arrived, Alpha Jeon Jeoun welcomed the Moon Blaze Pack and lead them to the hall.

Taehyung, who's enthralled by the beauty of Dark Hound, walked out from the trail and appreciated the beauty of the grand garden where the moon fountain can be found. He sat in the pavement of the fountain and ran his hand in the water, loving how cold it is in his skin. He giggled and picked a petal of the rose and let it float in the fountain, praying for Chung ha's pregnancy.

He stopped, as he sniffed a calming scent all over the place. He could not explain or put into words how the scent seemed to be strong yet relaxing, how the scent seemed to be so manly yet comforting. An Earthy scent, one that reminds him of siberian fir, mint and waters of the forest.

He turned his head, eyes igniting a silver shade. And then he saw it. The man with a flashed blue eyes, indicating an alpha who found his mate.

Mate.

It's him.
