Jeongguk howls in distress. Guk was now feeling restless without seeing Taehyung and it also affected him.

He couldn't understand why he's feeling this, when they have already broken the bond. Meaning all of the deepest connections and bond between them must be erased.

But here he was, in the middle of the forest, searching for his so called mate.

He huffs deeply, running his limbs some more, hoping to find Taehyung's scent. But clearly, it was blocked by some wolfsbane they used onto the omega.

Moon. Help me find my mate. He prayed silently, swallowing a lump in his throat before running again in the wild. He's sure he's out of their barrier by now, and anytime could be attacked by rogues, but all that he cares right now is his mate.

He stopped.

As he sniffed a familiar scent. One that still reminds him of his childhood.

"F-father?" Jungkook asked, eyes wide. And then looked at the other. "Daniel?"

They both looked at the confused young alpha. Daniel's eyes were wide. Jungkook could smell some scent onto them. Smell of rogues in the forest.

"What's the meaning of this?" He asked, his heart racing. Goddess, tell me he's wrong. Tell me they're not one of them.

"We must prepare, Alpha Jeoun."

Another voice came. And Jungkook has never been confused and terrified at the same time. His mind was throbbing. As Taehyung's brother, Alpha Namjoon went out of the dark.

"Son," Jeoun spoke, a glint of sincerness  in his eyes. "Come and we'll explain everything. And trust me," he exhales. "We will find your mate."

Yoongi's mind was all over the place. In just a second, the second hand of the Moon Blaze Pack came with a handful number of warriors.

"What's happening?" Yoongi asked.

"Alpha Namjoon commanded us. Your Alpha will explain everything once he comes back," Hoseok spoke and turned around to face his pack members. "Warriors, fall in!"

"Jennie? W-why are you here?" Jimin asked, seeing their pack witch, among with the other healers of Moon Blaze pack.

"Alpha Namjoon instructed us to help the Dark Hound. We have already built protection in our pack, Jimin." Jennie answered.

Jimin's face turned into a confused one, worried. "Yoongi, what-"

"I don't know, love." Yoongi sighes, pulling his mate close as the warriors fall in at Hoseok's command. The others went out of their hut, confused and terrified by the sudden commotion.

"Yoongi, remember my vision?" Jimin spoke, his eyes set in the moon. His mate looked at him, seeing his mate's eyes glowing in purple color, dazed.

He's talking about his vision of war. With Alpha Jeoun being one of them.

"I think it's tonight," He whispered, as if talking to himself.

Four wolves came running and they all showed respect onto their pack Alpha, along with Jungkook, Daniel and Namjoon.  A servant fetched them clothes as they shift in their human form. Jimin almost shakes in fear when he saw Namjoon, scared that he'll go berserk about Taehyung's disapperance.

"Yoongi, gather the warriors. Prepare for an attack," Alpha Jeoun commanded and Yoongi's eyes got wide. Nonetheless, he made the warriors fall in just like what Hoseok did.

As per the two head Alphas, they called for the pack healers and witches, along with Jungkook and Jimin who's still bewildered by everything that's happening.

"I know all of this is too confusing for you both but we'll explain everything," Jeoun spoke, partaining to Jungkook and Jimin. Namjoon nodded with him.

"Namjoon and I talked about Taehyung, when you were all travelling in the Blood Moon Mountain." Jeoun spoke. "Mina. We found out she's the luna of Blood Creed, the pack of rogues. Apparently, Namjoon had seen her all before I took her in, and remembered her mate died by his own hands."

"I felt that your safety was at risk, that's why we sent Yoongi and you, Jimin, to follow them." Namjoon then spoke, eyeing Jimin and Jungkook. "Jeoun..he tried following Mina before. And that's when we found out about her plan of taking Taehyung, attacking my pack and using my brother to let his mate be alive again."

"We have already talked to our packs, about the war that will take place in attacking the Blood Creed to stop Mina  from assaulting Moon Blaze Pack." Jeoun explained further. "But there was a change of plan in the Blood Creed Pack. They have abducted Taehyung and we have no choice but to change our plan and execute the war tonight."

Jungkook's eyes widened. Tonight? Were they really preparing for this war beforehand?

"War? But Alpha. It would make the others know about the Phoenix." Jimin spoke.

"Jimin, it is our only way. To save both of our packs." Namjoon explained. "I have thought about Taehyung's safety too. And I know, it can put his life into danger. But Jimin, no more hiding." He smiled. "Trust me. It's time."

'It's time.' Jimin understand what his Alpha meant.

"The moon blaze and dark hound's warriors will hide in the dark forest in the mean time, to wait for the Blood Creed's attack. In that way, we will be able to distract them from attacking both of our packs." Namjoon muses, spreading out a map of the wolves territory.

The dark forest was in the middle of the wolves territory. It will serve as the battle ground for war to keep both of the packs safe, while pack healers were building the pack's invisible barrier to help their alphas and warriors as well.

"Then what should I do, father?" Jungkook asked, Jeoun looked at him.

Suddenly, Namjoon rose his head. His eyes were turning gold, like specs of sun pooling inside his orbs. He felt the rumbling in the land, the howl of the wolves in the distant.
 

 

"They're coming."
