"Taehyung,"

The omega blinked his eyes at the soft voice of his mate, waking him up from his deep slumber. There he is, smiling down on Taehyung, dark hair falling onto his eyes with morning sun kissing his skin.

"Hello mate," he spoke softly, almost purring from Jeongguk's scent. His smile faltered when his eyes trailed behind the Alpha, noticing two figures standing behind.

"They're friends. No harm, pup. No harm." Jeongguk assures the omega, who's planning to get up and stand up protectively. "It's Jimin and Jennie, Tae. They're here for you,"

"Hello Phoenix, how have you been?" Jennie smiles, kneeling down to level with Taehyung. The omega felt serene with the witch and so he smiled back. "We're here to wake up Taehyung. He's there, isn't he?"

"Sleeping," Phoenix answered. He felt Jeongguk scooping him and placing him on his lap, arms around his waist. He felt relaxed in his mate's embrace.

"Well, we gotta wake him up now." Jimin smiles. "Don't worry, you won't leave. You'll also be here when Taehyung wakes up, alright?"

"Alright," Taehyung answers in understanding.

The Phoenix that has been Taehyung's inner wolf is different from the phoenix who woke up in the war. It's the sleeping queen of the wolves that came out at that time.

However, the queen of the wolves will not be mindful of his true form if his human consciousness is sleeping. Taehyung literally died in the battlefield, and so he was kept shut when The Phoenix woke up.

His human form, together with his inner wolf and the phoenix should all come together. And that's what's going to happen right now.

"Lay down for me, pup." Jeongguk spoke, kissing the side of his head. The omega followed him, laying once again on the soft matress.

Taehyung's eyes followed Jeongguk, whining at him to not let go. He saw Jeongguk shaking his head. "I'm here, baby. I'm here. Not leaving you. Alright?"

The omega visibly relaxed as he lay there, eyes wandering over the healers whose busy preparing the needed neccesities.

The room darkens as the heavy curtains covered the huge windows, candles were spread out in almost every nook of the room, supplying the needed light.

"Phoenix," Jimin calls, smiling a bit as he held his hand. "You have to reach Taehyung and take him out to the light. It is that simple. Are you ready?"

Taehyung nodded. He has his inner wolf to help him and his human form has also already healed from all the injuries and pain he got from the war.

"Oh, most devine goddess, mother of us all. Hear us and give Phoenix the light, to reach and find his human." Jennie chants, eyes closed as she holds Taehyung's hands too. "We offer these candle to light Taehyung's way, to find us and reach us."

Jeongguk sits beside Taehyung, worried and focused eyes watching them. He hope nothing would go wrong. It supposed to be an easy procedure after all.

After awhile of calling and chanting, Taehyung felt his head spinning, his grip on the healers' hands tightens. His vision slowly darken until all that he can see is a very dark and endless room, like a tunnel with endless candles.

"Phoenix?"

He perched up, following Taehyung's voice that seemed to be at the very end of the tunnel.

"I am here," he answered back, rushing towards the end. The nearer he gets, the louder he could hear Taehyung's heartbeat. Unlike when the human fell towards the den where he's been sleeping, his heartbeat now is stable.

And then he finally found Taehyung.

Taehyung smiled at the magestic white wolf that came and fetched him. It's as if, he's just seeing his wolf form, who had gone through such immaculate change. His wolf stands tall and with authority, eyes sharper, gold dusts clouding his orbs. He could clearly see now the distinct difference between his old wolf form and the wolf that has the presence of the Phoenix now.

"Nice to finally meet you, Phoenix," Taehyung smiles, eyes closing as his wolf form rub its face towards Taehyung's neck and face. "Thank you for saving me back in the battle,"

Phoenix looked up. "I met our mate," he says. "He is nice. I love our mate."

"He's nice, huh," Taehyung smiles. He's glad that Phoenix liked Jeongguk, eventhough they're not mates anymore. "Let's go back now. They must be waiting for us,"

The wolf jumps around Taehyung before he leads the way, occasionally looking back to see if Taehyung's still following.

The human walks behind his wolf form, thanking the candles that became their source of light to find the way. As they walk more, they started to see white light, getting bigger, and bigger, until Taehyung had to close his eyes from the brightness.

The next thing that he felt is the soft matress beneath him. Even with eyes closed, he could strongly sense a presence of a healer, a witch and an Alpha. He could smell the fragrance of the room, candles burning, with the strong scent of the Alpha who owns the room.

Slowly, he opened his eyes. And the first thing he sees is Jeongguk, face above him, lips slowly stretching to a smile, sighing in relief.

"Hi," Jeongguk breathes out, heart panting happily as he finally sees Taehyung. He swore his inner wolf would be wagging his tail and bouncin around if he's out.

"Hi," Taehyung smiles. It felt like forever since he last saw Jeongguk. He shifted his gaze towards Jimin and Jennie, ready to greet them when something suddenly hits him.

A scent that is so new, yet, addicting. Woody, a little minty, hints of natural aphrodisiac that brings calmness within him. Deep and cooling, like the ocean. It's calling him, it's just near him. The pull wasn't as strong like what he felt towards Jeongguk, but it felt like it. It felt like a pull to a mate.

The door suddenly opens, and it revealed Alpha Jeoun, with a man that has a thick coat around him. The man stood frozen as he too, found the alluring scent that he'd been wanting to find eversince he came in the Dark Hound Pack.

"Mate," The man says, eyes igniting blue, a smile trying to escape from his lips.

"Mate," Taehyung responds, smiling warmly.

Jeongguk stood there, frozen, as he watched Taehyung, his mate, his fated one, found his second chance mate.
