A punch flew right at Jeongguk's jaw, resulting for the frantic Alpha to stumble down in the floor. There stood Yoongi, seething in anger as he clutched at the younger's collar, eyes painfully dark he could break Jeongguk's neck.

"Y-Yoongi!" Jimin cried.

"You fucking asshole! You don't get to talk to my mate like that!" He spoke, growling his words. Jeongguk just pushed him away but didn't fought back, as the crying beta held his mate tight. "Don't fucking blame my mate for something that you've done! Taehyung wouldn't run in the forest if you would just stop being a bitch for one second!"

Jeongguk was taken aback. Because fuck. Were they all indeed true.

"What? You're speechless? Because I'm right? Fucking yes, ofcourse I'm right. If it isn't because of your stupid pride and your fucking selfish self Taehyung wouldn't run and wouldn't go missing. Be fucking speechless, Jeon."

"Stop it! Please! it's not the time for fighting!" Jimin cried, sobbing his heart out. "They can't get Taehyung! Yoongi, please. Please, whoever they are, they're going to use him, w-we we can't let that happen-"

"What do you mean they will use him." Jeongguk spoke mindlessly, eyes blank. Jimin did not answer. "What do you mean!"

"You fucking-"

"Because it's him!" Jimin shrieked and Jeongguk looked at him. Jimin whispered, "The Phoenix, Jeongguk. It's him.."

Jungkook wanted to fucking punch something. Literally, what does his wolf holds?

"What's happening?" Jeoun spoke, as he heard the commotion. Jimin ran to him.

"I-It's Taehyung-"

"What happened?" He softly spoke, although they could feel the rising panic through his reaction. "They can't hear about this, yet. We should talk in the hall. Yoongi, call for the witch."

"Should I tell this to Alpha Namjoon?" Yoongi asked.

Jeoun stopped. "Not yet."

The Alpha sent back the others, assuring that they will handle the disappearance of the boy. As for Jeongguk, he felt like he's floating, from how his emotions bursted and drained him to the hilt. He mindlessly followed his father, as he locked the hall when the witch together with Yoongi and Daniel went inside.

"W-where's Taehyung?" Daniel asked, panicked.

Jeoun brought his hands up to his face and sighed. "Please speak of what happened, Jimin."

"I was on my way to Jeongguk when I saw Taehyung running. I called him but he's- he's different, he just can't hear me. He was too fast. I even tried running but when I reached the forest and saw him, some black clothed men put a wolfsbane stem around his neck and put some poisoned clothe on his nose that made him unconscious. I-I was too scared and caught up in the moment, I lost them.."

"Alpha, we need to tell this to Alpha Namjoon." Daniel spoke but Jeoun shook his head, hands coiled up in a fist.

"We can't, Daniel. Namjoon will rage, war will start if he knew about this. And if a war take place, a lot of innocent lives can be affected and a lot will know about Taehyung. More people will come after him. We can't take that risk yet." Jeoun spoke calmly. Jimin cried silently from hearing that. Namjoon will indeed go insane if he knew his beloved brother had gone missing. No matter how good his heart is, he will slaughter everyone who would dare use his little brother for his powers. "For now, we'll have to work with whoever we got. Yoongi, tell the others to square the perimeter and hunt every possible places that Taehyung could be hidden. But never tell them that he's the phoenix. Tell them that Taehyung is Jeongguk's mate and is the future Luna of the pack so they won't suspect of why we're going all out tonight."

Yoongi nodded his head, leaving with a gentle kiss and a comforting whisper from Jimin before heading out. Jeoun then told Mina to do whatever she can to track Taehyung, which she immediately followed.

And then there's Jeongguk. Who's silently looking at the window.

"He's gone because of me."

"Don't say that. None of us want this to happen," Jeoun sighes, hands rubbing his son's shoulders. "Please rest for now Jeongguk. I'll get someone to treat those wounds, alright?"

"Where are you going, father?"

Jeoun side eyed him. "Outside. I'll be back."

Daniel bowed at Jeongguk before following Jeoun. The younger then sighed.

Jeongguk did not respond, mind loud with endless thoughts. He felt some healer approaching but the healer was caught off guard when Jeongguk ran away.

"Young Alpha!"

Jeongguk ran towards the library, slamming the door after as his eyes scanned every corners and every aisles, stopping before the history section.

He pulled out any books that his hands could touch, dusts now surrounding his very place but he couldn't really care. He needs to find something. And that is answers.

And then he saw it. Phoenix.

He suddenly saw visions. Of screams, and cries, and death and Taehyung. Who's being controlled, as he destroy lives before his eyes. And at that time, it was too late. He had lost Taehyung. They all lost that sweet omega, who was now blinded by darkness and power.

"But your heart, what does it say?" Moon spoke softly. Jeongguk opened his closed eyes,

He saw another vision, now different from the earlier. It is now full of laughter, and smiles, and Taehyung, and pups, and a family. His own family. He had his own family, with Taehyung holding two pups in his hand, little limbs waddling, as Jeongguk carries another two new born pups. No more crying, no more darkness.

"...Your heart. What does it say?" It replied to his head, feeling his heart racing as he didn't even need to think twice.

"It liked the latter vision, Moon.." He whispered, smiling a bit.

Before he could utter another word, there stood the Moon Goddess, smiling gently. Jeongguk couldn't believe his eyes as the beautiful lady smiled down at him.

"What did I told you in the dream, Jeongguk?" She spoke, smiling. "Love Maze."

"Your heart..it's what you should follow in this love maze," Jeongguk mumbled. He did not need to think twice, before getting up on his feet.

He have to make it right. And he'll start it, by finally listening to his heart.
