"Taehyung, let's rest for awhile. I know you're tired." Jeongguk spoke. But then again, the omega acted like he didn't hear anything and continued walking. Jeongguk groaned at his stubborness. "Taehyung,"

"Jeongguk, I'm not tired yet. Come on," He spoke, eventhough it's very evident with how hoarsed his voice had become.

Jeongguk sighed to himself. They've been walking for he doesn't even know how many hours already, but seeing how high the sun is, he's sure it's already noon.

To him, it's alright. He could walk for hours after hours without losing too much energy but for an omega like Taehyung, he wouldn't handle that. He sighed one more time.

"Taehyung, Taehyung, tae," He called and stepped infront of him. The omega looked up to him. "If you're thinking that we will not reach the Blood Moon peak in time then no. We will be there on time. So please, listen to me and let's rest for now, yeah?"

"No, you don't understand." Taehyung bit his lips, breathing sharply.

"Then make me. Is something bothering you, Tae?" Jeongguk asked, cupping both of Taehyung's cheeks. "What is it, Taehyung? I need to know."

Taehyung gulped and shook his head. "I-I don't know, maybe it's just me..overthinking," he sighed. "Yeah, let's rest for now."

"Thank God," Jeongguk muttered and sat down on a rock he saw. He gave the water jog to Taehyung. "Drink a lot, tae. It says in the map, the first pond is almost three hours away from the foot of the mountain."

Taehyung pouted. "Why is this mountain so high," Jeongguk chuckled at that and just looked at Taehyung, who started to drink. Once he's done, he gave it to Jeongguk, who only shook his head. Taehyung frowned. "Hey, I know you're strong and all but I don't want you to be dehydrated. So drink."

"Fine," Jeongguk surrendered and drink the water. Taehyung smirked in success but then, he felt it again. The wave of warning. You couldn't stay here, Taehyung. He closed his eyes and feel the nature. He could sense something. Or rather, someone.

"Jeongguk, we have to go." He spoke, almost in a whisper tone. Jeongguk looked at him.

"What?"

"We can't stay here. I-I can feel someone approaching. And I don't feel good about it. They will bring harm." He explained. Jeongguk held Taehyung's arm. "Jeongguk please,"

"Alright, alright, come on." He spoke, still confused. He sniffed the air but it gave him nothing. He also couldn't sense anything. He doesn't know how Taehyung knew that but he would trust him for now. He couldn't take any risk if it's about their safety.

"Tae, what if I shift?" Jeongguk asked. The omega looked at him. "You can ride on my back when I shift. We'd reach the higher part of the mountain faster if we'd do that."

"You'll carry me? Are you sure?"

"Are you doubting this alpha?" Jeongguk grinned. Taehyung rolled his eyes at that. "And besides, my senses are much stronger when I'm in my wolf form."

"Alright." Taehyung said. "But as soon as we get away from here, you'll shift back, okay? Don't drain your wolf form. We could use your pretty strong wolf into something else."

Jeongguk then rolled his eyes at that as Taehyung giggled. "By the way, what's the name of your wolf?"

"It's guk." He said. Before Taehyung could process anything, the black wolf stood proudly infront of him. Taehyung carresed his fur, smiling softly as guk moved his head towards his hand. The omega reached for Jeongguk's clothes and climbed on to him.

"Let's go, guk." Taehyung said and the wolf started to walk. The omega finally felt a relief as he got to rest from walking. Jeongguk grinned to himself. He knew he's tired.

A howl came from a distant.

Taehyung felt his heart beat faster. He tap guk's fur. "Come on, guk. Faster!"

Guk bit back a howl. He knew once he howls back, they'll track them. He run his limbs faster, running as quietly as possible. Taehyung could look back, trying to find anyone. He knew they're near but they haven't found the both of them yet.

No, Taehyung. You can't.

He closed his eyes and breathe properly, calming himself before he do anything. He must stay still, he must stay just like this. Or else, they'll know it's him. And more would come for him.

"We must get him as soon as possible," She spoke, holding the hands of his mate.

"They're already being followed, Luna. I'm sure before this week ends, he's crawling on our feet, begging for his pack's life."

The luna smirked. "And then, me and my mate will live happily ever after. Am I right?"

"Yes, luna."

The luna looked down on his mate, lifeless. She brushed his hair and smiled. "We'll get him, love. And when we do, we'll be together again. I promise you."
