"Jimin!" Taehyung spoke in glee and lunged forward, hugging his bestfriend tight in his arms as the other hugged his waist tight, smiles painted on their faces.

You could say, both alphas watched them with radiating jealousy.

"Why are you here?!" Taehyung asked, still smiling. The other immediately frowned, remembering why they're here.

"Alpha joon said you're going to break your soul bond with your mate. Is it true?" Jimin asked sadly. Taehyung nodded. Jimin instantly turned around, finger pointing at Daniel. "You! my bestfriend waited for you all his life! How could you let this?!"

Jeongguk growled lowly, feeling somehow offended. Jimin looked at him curiously before he felt Yoongi's hand pulling him towards Jeongguk. The warrior then bowed his head a little. "Gguk. Your father and Alpha Namjoon sent us here to accompany you and to give further safety measurements." He spoke before pushing Jimin a little. "This is Jimin, A healer from Taehyung's pack and my mate."

Jeongguk nodded his head at him while Taehyung gasped hearing the news. "Oh, you've found your mate?" Taehyung spoke softly, happy tears brimming in his eyes as Jimin nodded happily.

Jeongguk could only watch Taehyung, who had this adoration in his eyes knowing his friend got a mate. How happy he looks, how his eyes shines. He cleared his throat and just looked down.

"Um, well, who are you?" Jimin asked Daniel. They looked at the black haired who's been watching them.

"I'm Kang Daniel, I'm a beta from Blood Creed. Long story but I swear, I bring no harm. I serve for Phoenix from now on." Daniel spoke, bowing softly. Taehyung agreed with him along side with Jimin who told them he couldn't sense danger in him.

"I think we're all dead tired now. Daniel and I will go hunt some lunch, I'll leave you here with Tae and your mate, Yoongi." Jeongguk announced.

"Wait! No, I'm coming with you," Taehyung spoke. "We can't be away, remember?"

Jeongguk remembered the rejection pain and so he nodded as they left the three who prepared some fire. He held Taehyung's hands and walked away, trying to find some deer who usually lives here.

"Seems like they're hiding," Jeongguk muttered as he saw no deer anywhere. Taehyung looked at him and an idea popped in his mind.

He closed his eyes intently, feeling himself hear more. Every splash, every hurl of wind, every pitter patter, he hear them. His eyes were burning gold when he opened them before they turned normal. He patted Jeongguk's shoulders.

"There it is," Taehyung spoke, pointing at the lifeless deer on the grass. He giggled softly as he looked up, thank you, Nature. "Let's go?"

"How did that.." Jeongguk whispers, more than sure that there wasn't no any deer around awhile ago. He shrugged it off as he pulled the deer and trail back.

As soon as they came back, Taehyung and Jimin started to cook the meat as the other three fetched some water near them. Jimin finally got Taehyung to himself.

"Tae, why did you agree to break the bond? You've waited for this for so long.." Jimin spoke sadly. Taehyung softly smiled.

"Some things are not meant to happen, Jimin. And maybe one of those things are us." Taehyung muttered. "Don't worry, Jimin. I know what I'm doing."

Jimin nodded. "I hope you do. Breaking the bond- Tae, I can't imagine you being mateless. You'd never feel the feeling of being mated and being marked by your soulmate. You'd never experience carrying pups that was made by you and your mate. Isn't that what you've been dreaming all along?"

Taehyung got silent. And god, they're very much true. It's everything he ever wanted, everything he ever prayed for. But at the same time, he'd be selfish if he would push it to happen, now that he knows about Jeongguk's reasons.

He sighed and again smiled, assuringly. "I know you're worried about me. But trust me, Jimin. We know what we're doing, okay? Just- think of all the positive things after this."

Jimin shrugged. Hell, he can't find in himself to think about positive things about breaking a soul bond. But he trusts his bestfriend. He knows what he's doing and he's going to hold unto that.

"Oh, there they are," Taehyung spoke, mumbling a soft thank you as Jeongguk handed him some water. Daniel also has some fruits in his hands. They all thanked the moon goddess for the food before they eat peacefully.

"Daniel, can you tell us about this Luna who wants to take Taehyung?" Jeongguk asked.

"Our luna created the Blood Creed Pack to welcome rogues, offering us home. But our stay is not for free. For us to stay in our pack, we have to train in order to be a skilled rogue and to catch the so called Phoenix." He spoke and looked at Taehyung. "Taehyung, I'd like to warn you. We're not the only one who's after you."

Jeongguk snarled at that. Over his dead body. He'd never let them take Taehyung again.

Taehyung could only sigh. He's fully aware of the dangers that are after him.

"Hey, don't worry, Tae. We're here to protect you, alright? Namjoon won't let them." Jimin spoke.

"I don't worry about myself." Taehyung spoke. I'm worried about my loved ones. Because I know, they'll never stop, whatever it takes.

Taehyung looked at them. Saw them talking, peacefully and with a smile on their faces. He looked at Jeongguk, who has a smile painted in his lips. And then he remembers his brother and everyone in his pack, imagining them living a peaceful life. He smiled to himself.

He'd do everything to keep it that way. Whatever it takes.
