The Nightmares

Chapter 24

I sat at my kitchen table finishing a check to the bank. My bills are due tomorrow and I figured since I was home early, I might as well get the bills done and over with.

I slipped the check into an envelope when the front door opened.

I wanted to strangle the person who walked in.

"What are you doing here?" I got up and walked towards Kyle who was glaring at me.

"I came to get my stuff," he tried to walk past me, but I stepped into his path.

"I'll send it over to your place. Get out of my house."

"Move Jessy,"he didn't use his nickname for me.

Honestly, I couldn't care less.

"No Kyle."

"Move!"

"Get the fuck out of my house!"

He pushed me pushed me back, causing me to fall onto the couch, and walked a at towards my room.

"Kyle!" I ran after him and found him going through my personal things.

Not gathering his.

"Kyle! Get out of my stuff!" I tried to push him away, but instead he pushed be down on the bed and pinned me down by my wrists.

"You know what your problem is, Jessy? You never let people in. You blocks everyone out. You have no friends because your anti-social. Your own parents left you-"

"GET OFF!!!" I shrieked.

He flew off of me, across the room, and hit the wall behind him with a loud thud. When he fell to the floor there was a large dent in the wall from where he hit it.

"What the fuck, Jessy? Are you trying to kill me? First you kill my sister, and now you're after me! You are a fucking murderer!"

He couldn't see.

There was a large shadowy figure standing in front of him, watching him.

"Are you fucking listening to me?" He got up and began walking towards me.

When he was in front of the figure, it out its hand on Kyle's chest and sent him flying back against the wall again.

He looked up at me with hatred in his eyes, but there was something blocking his view of me.

Kyle's eyes widened in horror.

He could see it now.
