On Friday night, I had gotten ready with my new black and blue dress, matching blue flats, and some earrings. I had my hair in a ponytail, some eyeliner, tan eyeshadow and a little bit of light pink blush. Yes, I know that I might be over doing it, but I want to look good for my first date. Expesially since it's with Kyle.
Around 7:30 I heard my front door open, I REALLY need to put some sort of automatic lock on that door.
"Hey, you, uh, you ready?" He stood there, nervous, in a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
"Yea, I'm ready," But he just stood there staring at me.
Was I really that overdressed?
"Sorry, I guess it's too much-"
"No! No, it's not too much, it's just, you're cute," He hesitated when he said it.
I blushed. He had called me cute.
SOMEONE THROW MY A HAPPY PART!!!!!!!
"Thanks," We were just standing there staring at each other.
"Well, uh, should we go now?" I asked, wanting to break the awkward silence that had crept its way into the room.
"Yea, sure. Don't want to miss the movie."
"Hey, Kyle? What movie are we seeing anyway?"
He looked over at me and smirked a devious smile.
"I hope you're not afraid of dolls," and that was all I got out of him.
-----------------------------------------------------
Well, he was right.
He took me to see the premier of the movie "Annabelle", you know, the movie with the haunted doll that looks like it came from the movie "Chucky" or whatever?
Well, I'm actually terrified of talking dolls.
So when the time came for a jump scare, I screamed at the top of my lungs and clung to Kyle's sleeve.
He laughed and held me, protectively. I felt safe.
But I was still terrified of the stupid doll.
-----------------------------------
After the movie, he took me to a fancy restaurant and we shared a thing of spaghetti.
There was one moment when we both went to take a bite, but we both had the same noodle in our mouths. It reminded me of that scene of "Lady and The Tramp". I bit the noodle so that it would separate and we wouldn't have that awkward moment when our lips touch because we were sucking on the same noodle.
He smiled and slurped the rest of the noodle, but it backfired and the end of the noodle hit him in the eye right before it went into his mouth.
"Oww!" I couldn't help but laughter his boyish behavior.
-----------------------------------
Finally, he took me to the park so that we could watch the stars.
We were sitting on a bench next to a lake, sitting in awkward silence.
"Hey, Jess? Do you mind if I call you Jess?"
"No, I don't mind," It was a cute nickname.
"Ok, Jess, will you, uh, be my girlfriend?" He stuttered, but his eyes were full of hope and confidence.
I stared at him, mouth open and eyes wide with shock.
Me, Kyle Haris's girlfriend.
"Uh, m-me?" I pointed to my chest.
Kyle looked around and shrugged.
"I don't see anyone else around."
I smiled, "Yea, yea sure. I'll be your girlfriend."
He smiled back at me, "Great, so now I know you wont be mad when I do this."
"Do wha-" I couldn't finish my sentence.
Before I knew it, his lips were pressed against mine.
My eyes were bulging out of my head.
He is kissing me.
I closed my eyes and kissed him back.
I wraped my arms around his neck and he put his hands around my waist.
He licked my bottom lip, begging for entrance, I accepted.
I parted my lips, giving him enough room to slip his tounge through.
Our tounges were dancing inside our mouths. I couldn't breath. I didn't care.
I have to say, this is the best day ever.
