"Here, your ninang bought you clips"

My mom said, after she put the small paper bags in my mini coffee table in the room.

"Thanks mom" i said, smile in my face

"I don't know why you're so obsessed with those clips, why don't you change into clothes? Shoes? Bags! Or jewelries"

"No thanks mom, too expensive to handle" i said before i get the hair clips and try to my hair

She shook her head before leaving my room. I just used the gold one and put it in my hair before I left my room too.

"Good morning, dad. Where's kuya?" i said before i kiss dad cheeks

"I'm here, princess" saad niya sa likuran ko bago ako hinalikan sa pisngi

"Kuya, are you busy?"

"I'm always busy, but why?" he said while placing the fried rice on my plate. Such a sweet brother. I hope he can get a girl soon, but not now.

"You know Irish, right?" I asked and he just nodded. "Her birthday is coming, and i don't know what to wear, can you help me?"

"First, what is the theme of the party and second what location?"

"Pool club!" sambit ko napatigil naman siya sa pag lalagay ng ulam sa plato niya

"All girls?"

"I don't know. you know naman Irish, she's so friendly to everyone. Of course she'll invite the whole basketball team. Because again it's her birthday and no one can say 'no' to her"

"Okay, as I said. You can wear everything that makes you comfortable but promise me, Ela. don't trust anyone" he said in a serious tone, tumango lang ako at nagpatuloy sa pagkain

"Just wear a bikini and any long cardigan, so you can protect your skin to those assholes" tumango lang ako and i note it mentally. "Don't drink to much, or if you feel uncomfortable their, call me immediately" puro tango lang ang sinagot ko sa kanya.

After breakfast, nagpaalam lang kami at sabay na pumasok. Same lang din naman ng university yung pinapasukan namin dalawa kaya hindi hustle. Still, i dont have my own car. Kuya won't let me have it. Because I'm still their baby. I'm just telling myself that they are just concerned for me. And I agree.

"See you around" saad niya nung maibaba yung bintana ng kotse, kumaway pa ako bago ako pumasok sa building

"Alam mo ang hustle kamo ng buhay mo!" saad ni Irish nung makita ko siya sa locker room

"Bakit naman?" naguguluhan kong tanon

"Bakit hindi ka humingi sa parents mo ng condo? Or penthouse" suhestiyon ni Irish

Napailing naman ako "why would i get a penthouse if my kuya have one?"

"Oo nga naman" saad niya, napangiwi naman ako

After class, may 30 minutes break kami kaya napangpasyahan naming dalawa na magpalipas ng oras sa cafeteria, tutal naman wala naman pinagawa yung last prof. namin.

"This upcoming Saturday yung birthday ko, Don't forget ha!" pagpapaalala niya pa, akala naman makakalimutan, ilang araw niya ng sinasabi, paulit ulit. Parang sirang plaka.

"Pwede bang i-treat na lang kita ngayon hanggang friday? Tapos before your party shopping tayo then wag na ako pumunta sa mismong party. Okay lang ba yon?

"Of course it's a 'no', I know that will be my day, but i'll give you that day too." napangiwi ako, wala talaga kong takas "baka malay mo makita mo na doon si the 'one'" nailing naman ako
