In all the 15 days I begged them to spare us but their stubbornness didn't melt a bit, they were stick to get what they wanted and the thing was to marry me with Vijanti and the marriage must seem willful marriage so that Mr. Jagganthan's (Vaijayanti's father) image in not on the stake.

I tried to assure them that I never met Vaijanti and the girl who comes here and accompanies me in the court is different than real Vaijanti. Everyone was shocked but I couldn't reveal Bondita's name on their powerful smacks too, knowing how dangerous they are and might harm Bondita as well. I accepted what they wanted and made a phone call one last time to hear her voice and live her away from me 2nd time even being a married man of Bondita.

Next day, I married to Vaijaynti professionally maintaining a grin of ecstasy of being married and in next few days when riots settled but polygamy practice was nullified lawfully as the law was passed finally after a month and the citizens of India had to follow this, mine and Vijanti's wedding picture where I looked extremely delighted published in the news paper leaving no option left to publicly announce mine and Bondita's marriage.

After two days, in the noon ThakuMa and Chandrachur arrived with the box of sweets when we were all set to have Lunch.

Gesturing one of her house help for handing enormous gifts and sweets they greeted us with wide smile.

As, Vijaynti believes that "Guests are form of God", She greeted them too with equally wide grin and gestured them to sit on the table for lunch. I signaled kaka by eye moment not to react angrily.

We all greeted them and looking at Vaijanti, Thaku Ma smiled and gestured her to be seated beside her. Handing her a costly Red saree, silver toe rings and Sakhapola with other ornaments for married women, patted her head.

"Vaijanti! you are absolutely gorgeous, you make perfect pair with our handsome Barrister babu. May Dugga Ma bless you with all the happiness in life ahead you deserve." and gestured just 18 year old naïve girl to put those nuptial belongings safe in our room.

She left with fake obvious grin but she too knew the truth of our marriage and it was not possible in our wedding what ThakuMa blessed her with.

"Trilochan Zamindar Sahab! now listen to me carefully, I hope you and your sensible family mans will not barge in between when l am talking"

Kaka gestured her to continue.

"Zamindar Sahab! First of all, we apologize for our crual deeds 9 years back and we too feel elated that when your Brother Binoy Roy Choudhary has gained his senses back and is doing absolutely fine and the cherry on the cake, your barrister nephew has set his foot in new blissful marital life with Vaijanti I don't see there is something left to continue enmity between RCs and Das family coz now Polygamy in a crime so it is obvious that Bondita and Anirudh's path will never cross again."

We shared a forced smile at them and what Chandrachur stated next slid the square foot floor beneath my feet.

"Barrister Babu! you will be glad to know that due to Dugga Ma's blessing before the law came in function for citizens of India, I and Bondita got married so you all are invited for one small family gathering. I hope you all will not disappoint us."

I inhaled deep to plaster my emotions and after they left, I asked kaka to accept their praposal to end the enmity attending their gathering and once you are back let me leave for Kolkata, I have got very good opportunity to work with Brahomo- samaj for more law establishment for women's betterment.

Kaka signed in accepting my suggestion but "what I could not fathom was the meaning of shallow and fake happiness on Chadrachur's face while announcing his and Bondita's marriage, when we all knew he was deeply infatuated at her, The spark in his eyes and glow on his face was dull which usually had no bound even on small victories."

RCs attended the function with Vaijanti, I made a excuse of work and went to court instead as, I know I would not be able to see Bondita with someone else.

Everyone returned healthy and cheerfully, hiding my pain I grinned at them and in night before the day I was leaving for Kolkata kaka knocked on my study's door.

"Kaka, you can come in anytime, there is no need to knock." skimming some files pages I uttered.

He let me sit beside him on the couch, freeing my hands and mind from the work files and patting my back spelled his care beans towards me and my unwanted relation with Vaijanti.

"Anirudh! you know, whatever happens is for ours good only. see finally people of Krishnanagar and Tulsipur are living life like 9 years ago. you should feel elated that you and Bondita are the reason behind as this law passed by hard work of you both. And see you got very sincere wife like Vaijanti, who takes care of yours and this family and Bondita too got her man, who loves her more than himself and came to our place to end the revelry between two families and villages."

"Hmm!"

"What hmm? I will not allow you to go alone, Vaijanti is coming with you."

"No, no kaka. This task might take more than a year so, can't take her with me."

"She is accompanying you, this is my order" and excuse himself from me.
