"Bihari, where is bahu and Anirudh? it's breakfast time already and I haven't seen them since morning." sipping his gud wala tea kaka asked Bihari.

"Malik, I knocked on their room once few minutes back but it was locked so I came back."

"good job Bihari, never disturb them when they are sleeping even late too."

"But kaka you are strictly against sleeping late in the morning then why this privilege to dada and his wife." Batuk exclaimed in irritated tone absolutely aware of the fact what his kaka was thinking.

"Coz, if you are waking up late it means you slept late last night and if dada and boudi both sleeping late together it means our chances of becoming kaku of another niece or nephew is quite high...Batuk! understand." Som winked at Batuk. "what you learnt in Rome that you are still struggling with the basics." Som teased him further and Kaka and Bihari laughed behind their palms on mouth.

"Som dada, I have already told you I don't consider her my Boudi." and Batuk left the table in anger grinding his teeth.

"Batuk, this is what you have learnt in abroad disrespecting your elders, disrespecting your blood relations" Kaka shouted but he didn't stop.

"Kaka, I apologize on his behalf, have some water please, I will talk to him he will understand gradually, we must allow him some time too know please!" Som's calm words brought some stabled the situation.

"What happened Som? where did Batuk go turning red early morning?" I enquired them about what I just saw.

"Nothing dada, come have breakfast" Som simply ignored my question for Batuk.

"Han Anirudh, come have your Tea and breakfast and where is Bahu?" Kaka added further fully closing Batuk's topic.

"Kaka, we slept late yesterday so, might be because of that she is still sleeping." I replied them sipping tea and glancing at newspaper.

"Very good" kaka smirked.

"what?"

"No... I mean Nothing" he said turning her focus on his breakfast again with subtle grin all over his face.

We were having breakfast noiselessly when Bihari broke the silence.

"Bade Malik, you said some guests are coming tomorrow so, tell me in advance that I can do all the preparations proactively." and we all waited for kaka's reply.

"Alas my aged mind! It almost skipped from my mind to inform you all that tomorrow Basu's are coming at our place, I have sent them proposal of Som's marriage for their daughter, if both the children esteem each other, soon one more daughter in law joining our family." elation was laced in his voice while stating same.

"Basu's?? I guess I know them. they are good people." I added in continuation as I have met them once.

"and how is their daughter? dada!" Som excitingly questioned me.

I chuckled at him before answering him. "That I don't know Somnath Roy Choudhary, try your luck tomorrow."

"Han dada, not everyone is lucky enough like you that they will get good wife as Boudi." He put the last bite after this sentence and left leaving me there struggle once again with our awkward life.

"Anirudh! Anirudh beta"

"han... han kaka."

"Today, you will be taking bahu for shopping and I am not going to entertain any of your excesses. this is final, now go wake up bahu and take her to market."

"kaka, but its important to go to work, it is the case of someone's whole family." I tried to deny his order.

"First take care of your closed ones then think about others, and if bahu is done with her shopping soon you can join the court in second half..go now and bring our grand daughter to me."
