In 1998, two months after the T-virus bioweapon outbreak, Raccoon City is swallowed in infection and death. Seraphina's will to live is dying with the infected. Stuck and abandoned in the city after the mysterious disappearance of her father. Leaving behind pieces and clues of a puzzle, she picks them up, frustrated as nothing gives an answer.
Trying her best to avoid getting bitten or eaten alive by the monstrosities roaming the city, Seraphina runs into a situation near death. A certain police officer saves her, although the girl is an enigma. Closed off, secretive and emotionless. With his help, they are able to find the remaining clues and perhaps Seraphina can learn to trust...
