Entering the bathroom, I checked to make sure nobody was using the stalls. Clicking open my purse, Tikki flew out. Grabbing paper towels to dab the corners of my eyes. Noticing my tears, Tikki wiped them away with her tiny fins.

"Thanks, Tikki" she went as she went to hug my cheek. "Can you believe she lied about everything! Even calling me a half-breed; I mean I deal with that from Chloé. Yet this Lila girl knows nothing about me. What the hell is her problem!" Voice rising as the bell ranged. Hands gripped the edge of the sink, trying to soothe my breathing.

Staring at the black earrings that laid upon my earlobes. Containing the magic of the Ladybug miraculous which Tikki was bind to. Knowing what I am not the only one in Paris who owns a miraculous. Did not make being a hero any easier, thoughts of my partner Chat Noir wielder of the black cat miraculous. Crossed my mind making me grimace at the nightmare of him. Blocking those thoughts, I shifted them towards Hawkmoth. Our enemy who holds the butterfly miraculous and terrorizes Paris every day. By manipulating citizens and sending black butterflies called akumas, consumed with negative emotions. That can turn citizens into villains who create chaos. To retrieve Chat Noir and my miraculous.' Which can NEVER happen; I will never let it happen!

Turning on the sink I splashed water on my face. Not noticing the front door opening or Tikki flying into my purse.

'I really need to head back to class.'

Grabbing another paper towel to wipe my face I looked in the mirror. Letting out a squeak as I turned around to see Lila standing on two perfectly good ankles.

"Hello, Marinette" I did not respond, shrugging as she let out a sigh. Walking over to another sink and stared at her reflection. "You know I thought we could've been friends. Yet you had to go and try to embarrass me in front of everybody. Even a little butterfly knows not to cross me and yet here you are not falling in line. As well as having such a pathetic crush on that model boy." While she talked, the gears in my head were turning, what did she mean by a butterfly?

"Lila, I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Now Marinette let us not lie to each other. Besides, it's so much better to do it to other people instead." She turned towards me and took a step forward. Though she was close to me, I seized the opportunity to try and get by her. Brushing past her, Lila's hand shot out and gripped my upper arm. Standing hip to hip she slowly applied pressure not even looking at me.

"What do you want from me?"

"You'll find out soon enough" she then turned her head. "Oh, and you can try and cover those hickies all you want. But I see you for what you are" her fingernails digging into my arm.

'What the fuck?!'

Lila, I don't know what the hell is your problem with me. Why you deliberately decided to lie about knowing Ladybug and the whole ankle situation. But if you do not take your hand off me, I will make sure you regret it." I spat and she wasn't even budging; so, I pulled my arm out from her grip.

"Oooh, should I be scared? Is the little baker girl gonna beat me with a rolling pin?" Trying to calm down I just shook my head in frustration. Lila then started laughing and went back to staring in the mirror. Ignoring her I made my way out of the restroom. Now having to produce an excuse as to why I am late to class. The next few hours of school went by painfully slow. When it was finally over, I headed towards the main steps. Outside I could see a group of students surrounding Lila. Hell, I even saw Chloé and her minion Sabrina Raincomprix on each side of her. Rolling my eyes, I walked past them and headed home.

Halfway there my phone alerted me of an Akuma attack. Running towards the nearest alley I opened my purse.

"Tikki spots on," I said, smiling as magical pink, red ladybugs surrounding me in bright pink light. Unhooking the yoyo that I used in both battles and for transportation. Used it to swing myself with my belongings to my balcony. Placing the items in my lounge chair; I swung my way over to the Arc de Triomphe Where a giant person made of fire, terrorized the citizens below. Dodging a kick from the villain an angry kitten appeared. Chat Noir was ready to play, pulling out his silver baton.

"You can call me Flame Ringer" the villain shouted as Chat jumped in the air to swing down his baton. Staring at him I thought of that white kitty.

'This is your partner, not an akumatized villain. Ladybug you need to get it together."

"M 'lady!" Chat yelled, dodging a fireball as I summoned my power of the lucky charm.

"Give me your miraculous'" Flame Ringer shouted; my power gave me a huge blanket. Observing my surroundings, I yelled for Chat to manage to get the villain under Arc de Triomphe. Flame Ringer had gotten under the arch as I covered the building with the blanket and wrapped the cord of my yoyo around it. Extinguishing the villain, capturing, and purifying the Akuma that was in the civilian's hat. While gathering the blanket, I threw it into the air screaming "miraculous ladybug." The magic reverting Paris to how it was before the attack.

"Pound it!" Chat Noir and I said while fist-bumping. Then said our goodbyes, I headed back towards the bakery.
