"Have a fun time tonight" waving them goodbye as they did a last-minute check of the bakery.

"You only have to watch the bakery for two hours okay," Papa said as led Maman to the door.

"Yes, I know I will make sure the bakery is spotless and I will take care of the leftover food. As well as count the money and place it into the safe and lock the doors. Now go please and take all the time you need!" Assuring them as they finally headed out and I was so relieved. With the bakery closing at 8, the chances of any customers coming were rare. Pulling out my phone I turned on music and started placing portions of pastries and macarons in to-go boxes. There was enough that should satisfy Tikki's insatiable need for sweets. As well as a gift for Mylene when I eventually visit her. Hopefully, I could get to go tomorrow after school.

Placing the boxes in the back I started washing dishes. Taking my time dancing along with the beat of the song. Eventually draining the water, I went to wipe down the countertops and cases. Going to the back again I filled up a bucket of water and grabbed a mop. Just when I was to start moping the floor the ringing of the bells told me to know that a customer entered.

"Well, just my luck it's baker girl."

Blood going cold at the voice, I placed the mop in the water, turning around to see Lila. Walking closer to her eyes locking on the bat in her hands. Pausing the music, I stood my ground.

"Get out Lila, now!"

"Now why would I do that Marinette? Is that any way to treat a customer?"

"Would you like to buy anything or are you just here to bug me? What exactly is your problem with me anyway. You won okay, you already got me suspended. Everyone thinks that I am a liar and a thief, and I even heard that Alya and you have become close. So, what else do you want to take from me?" She didn't say anything for a few minutes.

'This girl is psychotic what is her problem?'

"Someone told me through the grapevine that Adrien came to visit you a few days ago."

"That's none of your business Lila, now either buy something or get out. I'm really not in the mood for this." Glancing at the clock there was still fifty minutes left until closing.

"Oh, but that's where your wrong Marinette, once I'm done with you Adrien and anybody else will want nothing to do with you."

"Is that what this has all been about! Are you being jealous of me because I like Adrien? Or that we're good friends, Lila he will never return my feelings. So why don't you do me a favor and get the hell out."

"You honestly think that I'm jealous of" she looked at me up and down. "You, if anything, I despise you, when I first got to school everyone kept praising how sweet you were. But the fact that you tried to expose me just showed me that you have everyone at school fooled with this sweet act." She swung the bat onto her shoulder, shifting her weight from hip to hip. Daring to walk closer while bringing out my inner Ladybug, I walked past the cash register.

"Sounds like jealously to me Lila."

"I'm not jealous!" She swung the bat towards a display case.

What the fuck!!

"What the fuck you psycho!" There was hate in her green eyes. Glass shards flew everywhere, and glass containers were on the floor shattered. Shielding my face, I managed to get closer and grab her arm. "Let go of the bat Lila!" Screaming as we struggled, and she wasn't giving up. She shoved me onto the floor and tiny glass shards had dug into my skin As she towered over me, I stared in horror as she continued to smash the front part of the store.
