Four more songs had passed, and I was getting hungry. Dancing my way over to a table filled with food. Loading my plate with chocolate-covered strawberries and chips. Gazing at the end of the table eyes landing on the macaroons that were from my parents' bakery. Narrowing my eyes, I placed my arm on the table and knocked the catering tray off the table. The music drowned out the sound of the crash. Heading back to a table I tried to keep my balance.

Don't fall, don't fall.

"Here let me help you," a familiar voice said. Looking up I realizes it was Adrien, he pulled out a chair for me. Both of us sitting down, taking him in, he was wearing a velvet dark green mask and a pair of black cat ears.

"Thank you."

"Don't worry about it! A sophistiCATic lady such as yourself shouldn't risk ruining such a purrfect dress." Reaching for the chips to start eating them. A piece became lodged in my throat. Slightly coughing and rubbing my neck.

"I'm terribly sorry, I guess I should leave the puns to Chat Noir huh?" He rubbed the back of his neck, nodding I gave him a small smile. "So, what's your costume mademoiselle?" Still rubbing my neck, the chip dislodging I started to feel better.

"That's for me to know and you to *hic* find out" Leaning closer I distinctively smelled a hint of camembert cheese. He must have gotten it from the food table. "So, you're Ch-chat Noir huh where's *hic* your suit?" Taking him in his outfit, Adrien was wearing a green kitty section shirt and black jeans. Looking at him I could see the similarities.

What am I even thinking there's no way that Adrien was Chat Noir?

Smiling I placed a hand on his upper chest.

"Where's your *hic*bell Chaton?" His eyes pierced mine and all I could think of was how I wasn't getting flustered around him.

"Are you drunk?"

Shit.

Shit.

Shit.

Moving from him I grabbed a strawberry and nibbled on it avoiding his gaze.

What am I even doing here? Should I just head home?

Scooting my chair back I stood up, way too fast slightly tripping on my dress, strong arms wrapped around my waist. We stared at each other, blush rushed to my cheeks.

Thank God for this mask!

Adrien pulled me closer to him and whispered.

"I'm not going to tell anyone, I promise."

"Th-thank you imposter Chat" my stomach started churning. Pulling away from him a hand on my stomach. "Oh, I don't feel so good" I confessed to him.

"Here let me walk you to the bathroom." Covering my mouth, there wasn't enough time. Turning I took off and ran to the nearest exit. The night air caressing my face and arms. Making my way over to some bushes I bent over and puked.

This is so embarrassing! Note to self never drink alcohol again!

Dry heaving, I shivered as I felt my hair being pulled back.

"Get it all out," Adrien said from behind me. One hand holding my hair while the other was on my back. Slowly gathering my composure, I stood up straight then turned to face him. Seeing that he was holding my clutch though his face looked like he was going to be sick as well.

"Marinette!" Hands going to my face, realizing that it was bare I looked down to see that my mask had fallen onto the ground. Covered in specks of vomit I looked back at him.
