Marinette POV

"Please" I groaned over the rumbling of my stomach. The ringing was still going, licking my lips my hands flew to my stomach. As another growl was released, squeezing my eyes shut at the feeling of hunger. My body curled on the floor "Lila please."

"Wow, are you giving up? This is only the first phase but I guess as someone as weak-minded as you. I guess it's understandable, I wonder how Adrien is suffering?" The intercom and ringing shut off leaving me alone in silence. I pushed myself off the floor and made my way over to the mattress. Laying down facing the wall I noticed a vent. Using my fingers to graze the metal.

In the darkness, I could hear whimpering from the other side.

"A-Adrien?"There wasn't any response besides his whimpers.

"Kitty?"

"Mari-nette!" Sighing at the sound of his voice I clenched the vent.

"I'm here Adrien, I'm here!"

"Are your ears ringing too?!"

"Yeah, but are you okay I heard you whimpering."

"I'm claustrophobic."

"Really? Okay, focus on my voice and your breathing. Are you near the vent?"

"Yes."

"Okay listen we're going to get through this, whatever Lila throws at us, Kitty. It's you and I against the world and this isn't going to stop us. Do you understand!"

"Yes."

Propping my head with my elbow I thought of topics to talk about. To help calm him down as well as myself.

"You know we've known each other for years and I had no idea that you were claustrophobic."

"Not even when we were trapped together during that Akuma attack. With the Dark Owl, I thought that I had made it pretty obvious." Chuckling at the memory of our alter egos almost revealing ourselves. Then giving Hawkmoth fake miraculous' to escape.

"That whole time I thought you were flirting with me and just trying to get me to perform CPR on you."

"Yeah, no I was really struggling, and on top of the fact of the other issue of what could've happened while we were trapped together."

"That was a close call huh?"

"We made it out of that problem together and we will do this same with this one." Smiling my stomach growled again and I shifted my legs.

"You're hungry" he yawned.

"And you are sleepy Minou."

"No...not....at.....all."

"Rest Adrien, you're going to need your strength."

"What about you, what if something happens while I'm asleep."

"I'll be fine, now please go to sleep okay." He didn't respond back, shifting onto my back I stared at the void of darkness. After what felt like minutes or was it hours. The concept of time was slipping away from me.

How long had we been here?

Another reminder of my hunger echoed throughout the room. As I shifted to sit up I faced the direction of the door.

Beginning a staring contest I knew I couldn't win. Sitting there I reached for my miraculous. Feeling the cold jewels on my fingertips. Placing my hands in my lap, one hand grazed the scar on the other. Finally blinking as the slot on the door opened. Just from the small light, I could see a tray with a water bottle, and food being slipped through. Then I was in the dark again but my hunger forced me to go to the door. On my knees not caring what was on the tray my hands dug into a cold, mushed substance. Bringing it to my nose I gave it a sniff. It didn't smell like anything, bringing it to my mouth, chewing it tasted vaguely of mashed potatoes. Sucking my fingers I reached for the bottle.
