 Adrien's POV

Cracking my eyes open I noticed that the room was dimmed. Eyes widened at the sight of a black, wispy orb. The owner glared down at me with green eyes.

"Never did I think I would have to cataclysm one of my wielders." It was Plagg's voice, pushing up to sit against the headboard. My hands were gripping something soft, glancing down I realized I was in bed. Black sheets and blanket halfway off the mattress. Looking around I was in my room. Slowly processing that I was actually home. I turned my attention to the problem staring daggers at me.

"Plagg wh-"

"Oh, now you act as if you can see me! Listen, I don't know who or what the fuck you are. But I'm done watching you blend your way into Adrien's life. you are not him and will never be him. So die-"

"Plagg wait please!" I raised my hands to my face in an attempt to block him. My face was wet with tears as I waited for the impact.

"It's you?" Lowering my hands, the black orb had vanished.

"Why would you do that?" Plagg turned from me and pointed at my hand. "You have the miraculous, the other Adrien didn't.

"What are you talking about?" Getting out of bed, I collapsed in pain. Reaching down to my thigh, the Akuma wound was oozing. Gritting my teeth I pushed off the ground. Just to sit against the bed as Plagg started talking.

"You're injured" unprepared for what happened next. Plagg flew over to the dial that controlled the lights.

"Aaaaah!" Shielding my eyes I crouched towards the ground. Shutting my eyes closed I got up only to stumble around. Making my way to the dial, knocking things over, disoriented. Once reaching the dial I spun the dial to make the room dim. Opening my eyes to adjust as I sat against the door.

"What happened to you?" Why is there a fucking butterfly on your skin! Did Hawkmoth do something to you and what about pigtails?" Plagg was spewing out all of these questions. While I was breathing slowly as a migraine began to grow.

"It was Lila, she kidnapped me and Marinette. But now it's over, it's all over right? S-she can't hurt us anymore" I explained as I pulled myself up to stand. Stumbling over towards my personal bathroom for my first aid kit.

"Adrien, what exactly happened to you?" Plagg asked as I knocked into my laundry basket.

"Dammit! Grabbing it I pulled out the clothes and threw them across the room. Picking up the basket to slam it against a wall.

As the image of the cell appeared. Those grey walls were starting to close in.

No this isn't real! You're home Adrien, Plagg is actually here with you.

Gripping my hair I fell to my knees, starting to feel claustrophobic.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Adrien.....Adrien" It was Nathalie's voice coming from the other side of the door. "Adrien?" Rubbing my eyes I noticed that I was laying down near a sweater.
Did I blackout?"
Shifting my position I got up to the door as Plagg followed. Only to hide behind my back as I opened the door. As Nathalie gasped and dropped her clipboard. Her hands covered her mouth, eyes wide behind her glasses in fear.
"Adrien wha-" she couldn't finish her sentence.
Leaning my shoulder against the door I started panicking.
Did she see Plagg? Did she realize that I'm Chat Noir?
"How did you get these bruises, you look like death. Your eyes are red and sunken in." She reached out to touch me but I stepped back. Internally sighing in relief that this wasn't about Plagg.
"I'm fine Nathalie, I just fell out of bed."
"That doesn't explain your eyes and bruises." Looking down I saw the mixture of blue, purple, and green bruises along my torso, legs, and arms.
"What do you want me to say, Nathalie? That I was staring at a screen jerking off." Looking up she had stepped back as if I had slapped her. "Really Nathalie I am fine so if you don't mind." Before she could reply I closed the door. Leaving my head against it as Plagg hovered next to me.
"What the hell Adrien, that's not like you." Ignoring him I walked past him. Towards my couch to sit, grunting as the fabric brushed the wound. "Adrien, what happened with Lila?"
Sighing I shook my head; not fully ready for him to know.
"Adrien please, obviously something traumatizing happened. It's not good to bottle something up like that." He pled as I stared in silence at the wound. As it oozed around the crusted blood, the skin that was once model perfect. Now surrounded in dark bruises, pus, and blood.
Damn the amount of editing that will be used at warmer photoshoots. Yet maybe this is a blessing and father will use me less to model his clothes.
"Sugarcube?" Furrowing brows I looked up to see Tikki in front of us.
"Hello Adrien" I turned to Plagg and he was just confused as I was.
"Is Marinette alright?!" I tried to stand but ended up sitting back down.
"As of right now yes, but I'm here for that." She gestured to my thigh and then flew over to it. Eyes closed and mouth mumbling nonsense as I watched. Suddenly there was a pink glowing orb being placed against my skin.
Staring in awe as the skin started healing. The once branded flesh now was as perfect as the Gabriel brand appeared to be.
Not that I wasn't grateful but it could have really shattered the brand.
"Thank you Tikki" she nodded as I touched the smooth flesh.
"You're wel-" a ringing interrupted her as I immediately covered my ears. Both of the kwamis gave me a questioning look and Plagg went to go get my cellphone. Bringing it to me I uncovered my ears and saw that Marinette's parents were calling. Grabbing the phone I placed it on speaker.
"Lila make it stop!" It was Marinette's voice, standing up only to stumble from getting up too quickly.
Milady is in danger!
"Hello, Adrien" Tom Dupain spoke to me. "Um, listen we're having some issues with Marinette-"
"I'm on my way!" Hanging up I went to my closet and changed clothes. Grabbed a bag to carry the kwamis and headed out of the mansion.
Thanking the heavens that I wasn't caught. As I walked down the empty street I asked the kwamis if they had the ability to track down missing wielders. They both popped their heads out of the bag. As Tikki explained that even though they were tied to their miraculous. They could only track it given a certain distance. If the miraculous had been lost by me or Marinette then they would become dormant.
That explains why they weren't able to find us.
Once arriving at the bakery I called Mr. Dupain to let him know I had arrived. While we waited the kwamis hid back in the bag.
"Is Marinette alright?" I asked as he opened the door.
"Sabine and I honestly don't know what's gotten into her. This past week was pure bliss, all of us were getting along. Now I just don't know, but she called out for you. So Sabine thought it would be best to call you over. Adrien, I just don't understand her strange behavior.
Well, a little bit of torture could change anyone's behavior.
Following him upstairs we could hear Marinette crying. As I rushed into the dining room. There she was against the lower cabinet. Her small frame trembling as I walked up to them, Sabine was trying to comfort her daughter. Along the table were Tupperware containers filled with food. As I went to switch places with Sabine I stepped over a pile of mashed potatoes. To kneel down in front of her as she cried.
