Unknown POV
There's a certain beauty in the ideal of darkness. It's never just applied to one situation. It's an ever-expanding force that can sneak up on those unexpectantly. But letting that darkness fester over time. Would probably lead one to madness, would it not? Let's be honest with each other; everyone has darkness within them. Whether they are haunted by their sins or currently battling their demons. Though it may depend on who wins in the end. Because that's what it all boils down to right, the winners and losers. The heroes and villains, those who are popular and outcasts.
'Oh, Dieu help the outcasts!'
Take Marinette Dupain-Cheng for instance, such a lovely girl, right? The girl who's always smiling, laughing. At this moment is internally screaming, clawing at whatever is left of her sanity. Like I stated before darkness can only fester for so long before it's exposed. All the doubts, fears, lies, betrayal, and secrets she faced. Even as one goes through trauma and tries to understand it. Trauma can ultimately block all those secrets and memories. No matter how hard one digs and digs some things are to remain buried.
Oh, but our dear Marinette has thrown away the shovel. As the secrets slip deeper into the depths of her mind. Soon enough they'll get loose and breakthrough. Unleashing the dam of emotions but I am here to keep her in check. To remind her of her potential, to not let it go to waste. To not let it slip through mine...I mean her fingertips. At this point it's not an option, there have been some close calls. But Marinette is very strong-willed; but eventually, everyone breaks!
Whether that's mentally or physically everyone hits a breaking point. As they deal with grief and Marinette has strapped into a wild rollercoaster. Both of us dealing with rejection, pulling on the façade. That everything was fine as we broke from the inside out. There's a part of me that feels horrible that she thought suicide would be the answer. To be that young and to think suicide is the answer. Though I'm not as young as I've once been. Yet life can be unbearable at any age I guess given certain circumstances. As a society that is something that needs to be understood.
'She has so much talent, her designs actually decent and if she wants to make it in the fashion industry she needs to focus on that.'
Although as cliché, as it sounds healing, isn't linear. So, trust me when I tell you that Marinette has an uphill battle ahead of her. Yet I fear the darkness will take over her, but she needs to know what a masterpiece she will be. A masterpiece that will soon be unveiled to all of Paris.
"Betrayal, especially coming from those you love. Only to learn that they've lied to you. Not telling you everything about your recent memory loss but I can help you."
"Who are you?" Her voice was a soft whisper as she held onto the letter.
"Oh, my dear let me introduce myself I am Hawkmoth. I will grant you the power to seek out what's the truth and what is a lie. All I need in return are the miraculouses of Ladybug and Chat Noir." She pondered my words, and I could feel her anger boiling. "Do we have a deal, Princess Justice?"
"At your service Hawkmoth!"
