"But love, pray for me

I never had somebody

So I don't know how to love."

Taylor's POV

Standing by the balcony as he held me carefully, without hesitation I told him the clear idea I had in my mind for a while. "My plan is to love you. Then I'll be able to live...without losing anything."

Not exactly looking for a response from him because I wanted to catch him off guard, he harshly pulled me by the waist closer to him, leaving my eyes widening. "Then let's do it right." He said calmly.

"Love me to the point you want to destroy the world for me." His expression was cold, for such a command. Scoffing from his words, I can't gather anything else to say back to him. All that I did was stare with eyes filled with resentment from him.

I've never become so vulnerable after meeting someone. He's that. The sudden source of that intense vulnerability in my life.

"What do you say? Should I kiss you right now?" He leaned his face closer to mine, cutting my stare off.

I pushed him away and got my bag from the ground. Ignoring him and brushing off what just happened, I made my way to my front door. "What happened to the girl who was willing to risk her life?" He asked me.

"I won't forget. I won't forget what happened today. I will remember it and do exactly what you did to me."

I wanted him to suffer just as much as I did. Then he'd finally know how it feels to be like me. A human being.

"Which one? How I tried to kill you? Or save you?"

"Both." I answered.

Finally managing to find the keys to my apartment, which was in my pocket, I opened the door. "Come on in. Or you can run away." That was the last thing I said before entering.

If I love him, maybe he'll realize how we humans feel, since we are aware that we're all terminal.

So then again, our houses are technically attached to each other, so I wasn't surprised that beyond my apartment was his house interior.

I seriously need to get used to this.

"What is that?" Doom watched me place a mat on the floor with a blanket in hand.

"A blanket."

"Why are you putting it there?"

"Let's sleep together." I said dully. He didn't say anything back, but rather looked confused. "Oh, you don't sleep right? Then let's just lie next to each other. Bring a pillow."

"You're really acting up."

"What's wrong? Are you scared that I might do something to you?" I arched a brow, pissed off by why can't he just go with it.

"You should be the one that's scared that I might do something to you." He warned me, crossing his arms while he sat there on his sofa.

"I'm not scared."

"You can't love me." He chuckled, "No human has ever loved me before."

"I can." I pointed to myself.

"Everyone just either resents me or just wants me, but no one can love me."

"I will because I must."

Doom soon stood up from the sofa and walked up to me as I squatted down on the floor putting the blanket on the mat. His unreadable expression made me wonder even more about his next move.
