"And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends

I'd never walk Cornelia Street again

That's the kind of heartbreak time could never mend

I'd never walk Cornelia Street again."

Harry's POV

"I'm sorry."

She's been saying that to me repeatedly as if that's all she knows to say. We sat down by her balcony, looking up at the star glazed skies above. She seemed too guilty to even look at me now. "Which one are you apologizing for? For deciding to erase our memories? Or falling for my looks again?" I asked her, trying to lift the mood that was just getting heavier by the moment.

"Both. I'm sorry for everything."

"No, I'm sorry." I corrected her. "...for looking so handsome."

Finally, she lets out a small chuckle that I've been trying to get. I hated seeing her so sad, so just one smile from her is enough to make my day. "Come to think of it, that's what I was doing. I think everything I did this whole time was to get back to you." I tell her.

"I wanted to face the consequences by myself. I thought I would be able to get away, but look where I ended up. What do we do? What should we do now, Harry?"

"We finally realized that whatever we try, we can't escape this. So we should acknowledge it."

"Acknowledge what?"

"Our fate. Let's accept it, okay?"

"...That's your plan, right?" Taylor sighed, facing me with cheerlessness in her eyes. "You're planning to dissipate for me, right? It doesn't matter what I say. It won't change anything. Whatever we try, we won't be able to escape that, right?"

"...Right." I nodded, not saying anything against that. What she said was correct, I was willing to disappear from the face of the world for her.

But that's obviously not what she wants.

Arguing about it seemed pointless though, since there's no other option.

"I'm sorry, baby." It was my turn to apologize to her. In the most sincere way I could.

"Why are you apologizing? You didn't do anything wrong. It's all my fault." She began to cry all over again. "If I didn't make that stupid wish that day-"

"Then we wouldn't have met." I cut her words off. "And I can't have that. If we never met, I would still be nothing. I want to mean something to you, Taylor. Experiencing that once would be enough for me. You didn't do anything wrong. It's always been my fault...so let me have my way."

She shakes her head, tears pouring down on her rosy cheeks. All I could ever do was hug her while she broke down in my arms. She quietly sobbed, making my shirt damp, but I could care less because of that. "Forgive me." I mouthed, not letting her hear me as I rubbed her back like a comforting ritual.

Taylor's POV

"I looked for you everywhere!" My auntie ran to me once she saw me walk through the halls going to my room. She looked so worried. "Where did you go?"

"Home. I just forgot something. I lied.

"You should've called me! What did you need anyway? I should've gotten it for you. You can't just go out like that wearing your patient clothes, you could catch a cold."
