"You're always there to help me when I'm down

I'm lucky you've been keeping me around

You're the star I look for every night

When it's dark, you'll stick right by my side."

Zayn's POV

"Woah, you came home awfully early today." Joe stepped inside of the house, arriving from work.

"There are only two ways to avoid running into the employees. Either go home first or last." I told him, scanning through the latest chapter of Jo Jones' novel on my iPad.

"Why don't you just tell them your parents own the building?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"I slack off, because I don't want to work. I don't want to think it's because I'm rich."

"Oh." He nodded in understanding, grabbing an apple in the fruit bowl. "Did you see our new part-timer? Isn't he good-looking?" He took a big bite of the apple, chewing hastily.

"Wash your hands." I cringed.

"They're clean. I washed the dishes a dozen times with these hands today."

I sighed in disappointment, shaking my head because he's so lazy. He's worse than me to be honest.

"Okay, fine. Sheesh." He put the apple aside. "Did you see the part-timer or not?"

"No, I didn't." I put my attention back to the novel.

Joe then suddenly pushed my iPad downward, interrupting my reading. "Are you not interested in me?" He asked.

"When was I ever interested in you?"

"You've changed." He sluggishly removed his hand from the device.

I rolled my eyes and just kept on reading, but Joe, being that immature brat he is, took my iPad out of my hands. "What are you looking at?!" He grumbled. "What is this?" He scrolled through the chapter.

"He ran away from love and embarrassment. That's how he chose to end their love." He read aloud and continued to read on his own. "This guy's a piece of trash." He scoffed.

If you only knew that you were the inspiration behind every work she has with a trashy male lead.

"Why is she still having a hard time getting over this jerk?" His brows furrowed.

I can't believe I let this dumbass be my roommate.

"I know, right? I wonder what she liked so much about him." I harshly took my iPad back, while he took the apple back and had another massive bite.

Glaring at him, thinking that he's the most naive person I've ever met, I scrolled all the way down to give my regular 5 star rating for her books and added it to my favorites.

Taylor's POV

"Who did this?! You'd better make sure CS doesn't stop writing. How are we going to make money if he stops writing? We don't even have many famous writers. Why couldn't you make things in check? How could you make a mess just because I'm not there? Who did this? Who uploaded it wrong? Who was it? Who did it?"
