Doom's POV

What the- how is she here?

I can't believe I didn't notice her.

I was having a blast choking this guy and now I have to deal with another headache.

I slowly let go of the guy's neck, not giving him my attention anymore. He coughs up and catches his breath as much as he could with a face so red and swollen. Not even a minute later he got up and escaped.

I'll deal with him later. He could never escape me anyway.

I stared at the blonde woman whose eyes were deep blue, avoiding my gaze. Not expecting this, she squatted down and hid behind the car. She seemed shocked, scared but overall...confused.

If this were some ordinary person, they would run away, but she chose to hide down even if she knew that I saw her.

What a hassle.

Joe's POV

Sat on my bed, waiting for that notification from Gigi. I was like a teenage boy waiting if my date to prom would say yes, she told me that she was gonna take me out at least thrice and I was so excited about it. I find myself smiling because of it everyday.

But still. Nothing. Not one text.

I sighed heavily, putting my phone aside. I was anticipating nothing for the whole day. I then heard the front door open and close.

I guess Zayn had somewhere to go.

I went out of the room and I was right. He was nowhere to be seen, so it was just me here. I found his Ipad still turned on by the coffee table. "He should've at least turned it off before leaving."

I took the device, about to turn it off only to find that the tab he opened was an update by Jo Jones.

Why does this name sound familiar?

I scanned the chapter for a few minutes, noticing that it was actually quite entertaining to read.

"Do you like him that much?"

After endlessly waiting for someone who would never come, Noura finally realized why after talking to a stranger...

"I should read more of her works." I thought to myself and with burning curiosity to see what story this is, I scrolled up to see the title.

"Love Like A Rain Shower"

I wonder who the author wrote this about.

Gigi's POV

"What is going on?" I eyed Zayn suspiciously, seeing him right outside of my apartment building, by the garden. "What is this? Why are you here?"
