Josh Matthews looked around the small apartment he found himself in. He and Maya had of course thought of moving into their own place especially since her due date was so close but neither thought what kind of job it would necessarily mean. He has been busy moving everything around for a while now and still be wasn't sure how to surprise Maya. He thought the apartment would be an amazing opportunity to surprise her for Valentine's even if it was his birthday. His phone buzzed and he saw the message from Riley telling her that she and Maya were right outside.
"Come on, Riley. I'm tired. And also 30 weeks pregnant so I don't have the energy for a huge thing," Maya said.
"Wow pregnant people complain. It's a nice surprise, I promise. Close your eyes," Riley said as Maya closed her eyes.
"Okay," Riley said as she opened the door.
Seeing Josh, he showed Riley to be quiet as Riley nodded.
"Riley, where are we?" Maya asked as Riley smiled as Josh went down the hall.
"Okay, open your eyes," Riley said.
Maya opened her eyes shocked at what she saw. The little apartment she found herself in was everything and more than she could imagine. It was a tiny place looking similar to the Matthews apartment but then again it looked like a place where she and Josh could grow together as a family especially with their son on his way.
"Where am I?" Maya asked.
"Our new home," Josh said coming out of the hall.
"Told you I had a place in mind where you and I could go for raising this little kid," Josh said.
"It looks like..."
"The apartment above Riley. Cause it is. This is where the two of us will raise our son," Josh said as Maya embraced him.
"It's beautiful," Maya said.
"I have one more surprise for you. Come," Josh said as he took Maya and Riley down the hall.

"Joshua Matthews what did you do?" Maya asked shocked at where she found herself.
"I did Joshua-Parker's room. Do you like it?" Josh asked as Maya smiled.
"We have everything we now need for the little boy's arrival. I'm so happy I get to spend my life with you," Maya said.
