Maya exhaled looking at the huge party at the cafe. Lucas had officially decided to say goodbye to everyone but he wasn't too keen on going without saying goodbye. Maya had through being a mother to her nearly 3 month old baby also arranged a little going away party for Lucas but it made her sad thinking her whole life would change.
Ever since Maya and Riley had that one fight their friendship had also changed so much that Maya couldn't even believe it was the same girl she once knew. Maya exhaled seeing Josh with JP while she shook her head going up on the stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please? First of all I want to say thank you to Topanga for helping me to arrange this. I couldn't have done it without you. But the real reason we are all here is to say goodbye to someone really special. Lucas," Maya said as he pretended to tip his hat.
"When we met 4 years ago I had no idea how much you would influence my life. You were one of the best friends anyone could ask for. And I can only thank you for 4 years of friendship. Yeah most of it was just name calling but when it was needed we could go to you for advice and I won't lie when I say even I had to do that sometimes. But I know all of it was worth it. And we'll all miss the Texas guy who changed our lives for the better. This next song is for you, my friend," Maya said as music started to play.

Maya went off stage immediately receiving a hug from Lucas as he smiled.
"Thanks, Maya it was absolutely beautiful," Lucas said as Maya smiled.
"Glad you like it then," Maya said.
As the night slowly ended Maya exhaled knowing Lucas had to get going to catch the plane. She exhaled as he said goodbye to their friends before going to her and Josh.
"Okay, Matthews. Take care of her. There's one of her," Lucas said shaking Josh's hand.
"I will. Take care of yourself as well back in Texas. Maybe I'll take Maya and JP to visit next summer," Josh said.
"Sounds good. Thank you, Maya and not just for the party. But for all these years of friendship. I'll never forget about it. Never. You were a true friend," Lucas said hugging Maya as she exhaled.
"Yeah, yeah Huckleberry. You better get going before you miss that plane. Bye," Maya said.
Lucas looked one last time behind him waving to Maya and Josh as he went out of the door. Smiling at Josh she took JP in her arms smiling at the sweet little baby kissing Josh.
"It wasn't goodbye. Just farewell. We'll visit a lot," Josh said.
"Let's go home," Maya said.
