Maya exhaled as she went inside the house being nervous.
She was feeling weird for the last two weeks of the summer holiday and now the new school year had also started.
She was definitely very nervous but didn't know what it could possibly be what is upsetting or making her feel different.
She looked at the calendar but all she saw was her period which hasn't came yet.
She exhaled as she took her backpack taking out the test.

"No, Maya. You're not pregnant. Maybe your just late because of stress," she told herself.

She exhaled as she quickly took the test as she put it on her basin before setting a five minute timer.
She quickly thought of everything that could have happened if it was positive but she also djdnt2 want to think of it.
She heard the timer going off as she exhaled.
Her mom was 22 weeks and she couldn't even think of her being pregnant.

"Maybe it's negative," Maya said as she looked at it.
"Oh my gosh!" Maya yelled looking around making sure her mother didn't hear her.

She felt how her heart beated uncontrollable and exhaled.
For that moment she was still in shock not wanting to believe what was going on in front of her.
She smiled tears streaming down her face as she heard a knock on her window seeing her boyfriend.

"What's wrong? Why are you..." Josh said as Maya showed him the pregnancy test.
"What! Are you serious?" Josh asked taking the test from Maya looking at it.
"Wow," Josh said.
"Yeah I know. Ugh don't even know why I'm crying," Maya said wiping her tears away sitting on her bed.

Josh put the test down on Maya's table as he went to sit down next to his girlfriend throwing his arms around her.

"You will make an amazing mother. I know it. And even if they want to, your friends nor our families will ever make me believe otherwise," Josh said as Maya smiled.
"We're becoming parents," Maya said.
"We are. I love you," Josh said giving Maya a soft kiss laying his hand on her stomach.
