It had been approximately three weeks since Soren was saved-three weeks of healing, three weeks of smooth sailing, and three weeks of forming new bonds. San and Wooyoung had become much closer to Hypaxia during this time. The two youngest members of the crew always seemed to be up to some kind of mischief, enjoying the advantages that came with being the youngest on board.

Hongjoong, on the other hand, had become somewhat elusive. He only emerged at night to steer the ship, spending the afternoons asleep and issuing orders in the evening. The atmosphere between him and Seonghwa remained tense, with minimal communication since that day in the port of Haiti. However, Seonghwa appeared unfazed, keeping himself occupied with aiding her brother's recovery and researching the hafgufa blood sample he had extracted from Yeosang's skin.

San preferred staying in his room; the constant presence of the crew felt suffocating to him. It was akin to a Doberman guarding its meal, and the discomfort of always being under the watchful eyes of others prompted him to seek solace in the confines of his personal space. In contrast, Wooyoung thrived in social interactions, resembling more of a social butterfly within the crew.

Yunho had grown closer to Wooyoung during this time, but a subtle hint of hesitation lingered in his eyes whenever he interacted with the younger crew member.

Mingi's gaze always lingered on Yunho, the unheard words left alone in his heart.

"Hi, Yeosang. How are you feeling?" Wooyoung greeted as he walked into the sick bay, carrying a tray of food.

"Seonghwa Hyung asked me to cut these fruits for you, evening snack you know" he explained, presenting the tray. Yeosang looked down at the unevenly cut apples.

"Who even cuts apples like a triangle? What..." Yeosang started his expression a mix of amusement and confusion.

Wooyoung chuckled sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "I guess I got a bit carried away with the knife."

Yeosang smirked, taking one of the triangular apple slices and biting into it. "Well, at least it tastes the same."

"Yeah, sorry about that," Wooyoung apologized with a grin, setting the tray down on a nearby table. "How's the recovery going?"

Yeosang shrugged nonchalantly. "Getting there. Thanks to you guys and Seonghwa Hyung, I'm feeling a lot better."

"That's good to hear," Wooyoung replied, genuine relief evident in his voice. "Let us know if you need anything else. We're here to help."

Yeosang nodded appreciatively, taking another bite of the peculiarly shaped apple slice.

"You call Seonghwa Hyung, Hyung. Shouldn't you call me Hyung too?" he asked with a playful glint in his eyes.

Wooyoung raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "How old are you? You don't look a day older than 23."

Yeosang shrugged, a mysterious smile playing on his lips. "I'm definitely older than Daphne."

"How old is Daphne then?" Wooyoung inquired.

"28-ish? I guess. I don't keep up with these man-made social constructs," Yeosang replied casually, savoring the apple slice.

"You talk so peculiarly sometimes, Yeosang Hyung," Wooyoung remarked, a grin spreading across his face.

Yeosang chuckled at Wooyoung's comment, appreciating the light-hearted banter. "Well, my dear Wooyoung, life is too short to be confined by the ordinary. Embrace the peculiarities, and you'll find a world of surprises waiting for you."

Wooyoung scratched his head, processing Yeosang's words. "That's deep, Hyung."

"Life experiences tend to be," Yeosang replied cryptically, his eyes holding a hint of mystery.
